Just got mine and your calculation was very good, MagicYoda! But as I guessed, the Elastraflex adds some weight.

Here's the rundown:

My package had 366 whole bands, two of which were stuck together but easily separated, and one broken band stuck to a whole band.

The one broken was green.

Whole rubber bands:

GREEN 61
PINK 51
ORANGE 44
YELLOW 60
RED 54
BLUE 45
PURPLE 51

O.K....here goes!
Generally, as rubber bands go, a #19 measures 3.5inches long with a width of 1/16". Using a "sterling" band (yes, it's trademarked)which is a great "mid range" band (high rubber content good for fast application and repeated uses), you'll get approx. 1700 bands per pound.
Using these numbers as the standard, for your 1/4lb pack...you should get approximately 425 bands.
Upon receipt, measure them and count them. Let us know.
