regarding sponge balls

On types I use Goshman 1" multiplying Balls as they are quite firm. Now I would like something not quite as firm, would that be regular sponge balls or Super soft? Asking I guess are there less firm with out going to super soft?

Hmmm...there are 'less firm' sponges as you ask, but I don't think that they label 'em as such...Usually, it's just 'regular' or 'super soft'.
That being said, obviously, there is a difference between the regular and SS.
However, ironically, even with the SS ones that I use, I find that there are, sometimes, varying degrees of firmness due to size.
Sometimes even the same size sponge from the same manufacturer but, in a different color, feels differently.
Don't ask my why!
I've just learned to 'deal with it'. ;-)
