It's a bit small for stage.
As the performance in the 2nd marketing video shows w/ Simon, although it starts on stage, the actual presentation is shown 'close up' to the judges with actual TV broadcasts to the audience.

I use this on stage all the time. It is really a matter of choice. I have a corporate stage show this Tuesday for 400 seated. I ask the spectator to verify that all that all the pages are in fact different - as they are the eyes and ears of the audience. For this week's show I will be using a KoD pad + a Post-it/Sven Notes SvenPad (believe it or not). If you prefer a larger pad, by all means we have the 8.5x11 KoD stage size that looks exactly like a Mead style notebook with 3 hole punches. This is a great option if you have a video camera for stage and want everyone to see the selections. You asked about the AGT video with Simon etc - but remember that the producers rehearse every shot and it is not spontaneous. Hope that helps. Also the SvenPads are incredible for pre-show, which is how many pros now use.
