A 'stack' of envelopes was mentioned - what if the spectator puts the card in the wrong envelope?
It would seem suspicious if the magi told them to use a specific envelope.

The envelope must be the one on the end. In a rubber-banded stack of envelopes, this is the easiest to get ahold of. The magician can guide the spectator if needed.
