The Gift - Predicting info other than playing cards

The trailer shows the box being used for drawings and other non-playing card predictions. If you are predicting something other than a playing card, is the deck still somehow required? If it isn't required, what type of paper/card stock is required and how much setup is involved to prep it for a performance? Thanks in advance.

Since it is now basically 'common knowledge', you have 4 outs with the box.
Set up is easy and quick.
In re to paper, you can use any stock up to the thickness/weight of playing card stock.
After learning the handling of the box, other small, heavier items could be used.
