What type of rubber bands does Joe use in his routines?

Joe uses specially treated #19 size rubber bands. Penguin has these for sale. The size is the key thing; the treatment makes the bands stretch further without breaking. Unlike the 'office supply' set of colored bands that I found at Office Depot (the #19 size are all yellow), the set offered through Penguin contains multiple colors of size #19.
