I like this effect and I think it will get great reactions when I go out and perform it but, my only
problem is the price. For $40?? Come on, maybe $25-30. Definitely not $40 though. Still a good
trick I will use, just wish the price was lower.
Fair, Marotti, it is Penguin's job to sell the product; however, the price was originally $29.95. There was no indication it was an introductory price. Even though it is only ten dollars more, you just feel burned by it.
If you disagree with the price, vote with your dollars and refuse to buy it. If you regret missing out on the early low price, that is on you not Penguin. It also proves that Penguin would might have left money on the table, as you still bought the trick for $39.95
I agree the price is too high , and I wouldn't buy this , it's just a chips with computer printing stickers, I can make the same gimmicks for some bucks, and it will get the same reaction . If it cost 25$ -29$ I'll buy it. 40$ is over high.
For those concerned about price, this may seem counter intuitive but I enjoy long investments.
Consider using the site below to create not just an effect, but a business card.
https://www.thepokerdepot.com/custom-ceramic-poker-chips-striped-456
It will end up costing you 7 times more. But just add 15 dollars when including this effect at gigs.
IDEA: Use poker depot company to create force chip, put contact info on side of chip, let important guest keep chip.
Catch: You still need a, "YOUR CARD" chip
