I don't know if this will help in this case. However, something that I've been on a mission about is the feature in the download that let's users speed them up or slow them down (especially for lectures, but it sounds like for product down loads as well).

There are often complaints that explanations are said too fast, especially for non-native English speakers. In this case, it is possible to slow the video down (keeps the same pitch). Of course this feature doesn't help if explanations are incomplete or the like.

Likewise, some lectures / downloads are laboriously slow or seem to drag on. In my experience, speeding these lectures up (faster) can make a hug difference.
