While this device does what it claims, I feel that after having used it that I wasted my money. My
issue with it is that the card becomes fragile and depending on your reveal, you may not need a
perfect fold. Using this device does not allow you to reveal a folded card, but rather a cut and
bent card. My suggestion or advice then, is to practice your Mercury card fold until you can
reliably produce the same result each time and if you need to slow your fold process down, use
patter and misdirection to allow for more time. Those looking to this device to save on practice
will be limiting themselves as to what they can accomplish on the fly.
Thats an appalling review. The spectators don't know what the trick is supposed to be. It's what you show and tell them.
1. Sometimes a more precise fold is needed.
2. It also sounds like you are making to deep of a cut, not a score.
This tool for professional magicians not for amatures , this comment seems from amateur. This tool is great & perfect if you know how to use it . It best for all magic tricks especially for paragon 3d from jon allen.
I agree w/Lance.
The Mercury fold isn't that difficult to learn. Go get cards...any cards...cheap cards...and practice.
Really? A tool? C'mon people!
This tool is very useful, not just with Mercury Card Fold. Actually i wouldn't use a score for the sleight, cause i learned that already. But if you make flap cards, this is the best tool to use.
