Hello ....did you watch the whole thing?
There are 4 methods taught, and you need a table for 2 of them. You can do the color change without a table, and the angles are pretty good. Without giving anything away, you don't want anyone sitting at 9 o'clock or 3 o'clock, but 10 - 2 is fine.
Anyway, if you didn't like it, then that's alright, not everything fits everyone's style. That is why I am sure to include a diversity of concepts on everything I put out, so even if you don't like the main effect, you can still get something good out of it. Thus, the ACAAN method, the 4 variations, the cull force application, the variation on the color change, etc.
But that's also part of the fun of learning - how do I take something that doesn't work for me and twist it so it does? Or take what you've learned here and apply it elsewhere.
In Magic,
Tom Phoenix
P.S. A note on the 'table problem': this can be done with people at 9 & 3 o'clock, it just takes a bit of misdirection and an off-handed comment after the effect.
If you really didn't like this, then shoot me a FB message, I'd really like to help you figure out how to get around the issues you have with it. Where there's a will, there's a way.
