What you are not told is that you must have large hands in order to turn the cards. The corners catch my hand and I can not complete the turn around so it is not a smooth transition. This was a waste of my money.

Vortex is one of my favorite tricks - a perfect opener. My wish for you is to find a magician who can help you with the turnover. I don't know how small your hands are, but it shouldn't matter if you hold the cards at the tips of your fingers. I would guess if your middle finger is about 2 3/4 inches or more, it would not be a problem.

In Rick Lax's handling where you do not need to spin the cards as you say. I'd pay attention to his handling if you are having issues with Dan's original.
