Performance video doesn't quite show the whole performance. There a part they don't show. I was led to believe the spectator had the torn piece in their hand before they revealed their choice. That's not the case. Still a good trick but not as strong as it shows, in my opinion. That being said, I like Rick Lax and most of his tricks.

It's called mind reading then placing the card in their hand and having the laymen open their hand and puff the same card they were just thinking of. Think about it you have one card in your hand then you place a piece of the card in their hand which is the one they were thinking of. Like I commented on the other guy it's the presentation that makes the trick work.

proffs89, whether the trick is good or not is irrelevant to the fact its not as strong as the commenter thought.
