I haven't used these in performance yet. The I-D trick is fantastic. I am not rating the trick
itself. I am writing about the actual cards. They will work fine for you, but a few things to note
before purchasing. They are NOT as thick as normal Bicycle Jumbo Cards. They are about 2/3 the
size, so the deck is considerably thinner than a regular jumbo deck.
The box is a little
tight for the cards to slide from smoothly. You will either have to manipulate the box or put them
in an old regular jumbo card box (which I did). Being they are thinner, they will slide right out
of a regular box.
They do require some additional care when handling. They don't fan the
same as a regular size deck. This just makes sense, but should be thought of ahead of time. Don't
plan to buy them and take them out that night. Work with them a bit.
LAST - my set did NOT
come with instructions. Make sure you know how the trick works before you purchase these. I know
how it works, so I'm fine, but this was surprising.
The cards will be fine, but given that
they are advertised at Jumbo Bicycles, I was expecting heavier stock with the same Bicycle finish as
other jumbos I have. These are neither. For that, I am a wee bit disappointed.
Good enough, but could be better.
