It really baffles me how they could take an excellent effect like Magic Ranch and ruin it. All one had to do is follow the instructions Tommy gave in his book, and one would have had an excellent effect and teaching video. But for some reason they decided to add stuff to “modernize” it. Imagine taking Hamlet and saying “you know, to be or not to be; no one talks like that these days. Let’s spruce it up a bit.” It’s no longer Hamlet but Craplet. However, I recommend you get this and then get the books for a very good lesson in what NOT to do.
