This is a good history of marked cards. It covers different styles, handling, and some very neat effects you can do with your deck of choice. Boris has a section where he discusses his Deck. I got my first marked deck 55 years ago and know my way around probably above average. I rated this 5 stars because it really is the most comprehensive book I have been through. Kirk Charles has done an outstanding job with his research. Also, the handlings are above average and the illustrations are first rate.

It's a good book, quick and easy to read. It's a must if you are a beginner with marked deck. Nice tricks inside to make sure you don't spoil everything.

I can't believe I haven't heard more about this book, especially at this price. It has a great history of marked decks that you can buy or make, and some great effects to go along with it. I had hoped to buy Boris Wild's "Transparency" when I can afford it, but in the mean time this will keep me plenty busy for a pittance.
A must have for the magician who wants to work with marked cards Report this review

This is like a manual for marked cards.
You learn tricks and how to prepare your own marked deck.
I also recommend the Boris Wild dvd.
