Why does penguin have to put the same repetitive and annoying music in the background of downloads.
It's bad enough trying to make out some of the poor sound quality of the performers, but to have
that dreadful soundtrack drowning out words is unbearable. Stop it!

This is a powerful classic of magic, that ANYONE who has been in magic longer than a month has
either seen, owns or heard about.
This is a fantastic download too; basically, suffice it
to say that Jay Noblazada is an EXCELLENT teacher. You will have NO problems understanding how to do
this after buying this.
Really cheap, easy to do, great download... Highly recommended!

This was the first trick I ever purchased from Penguin Magic, sixteen years ago. I’m still a lousy
magician, but this is one of the best, spookiest tricks in my arsenal. It looks absolutely
impossible. It’s easy to end clean with just one basic move. The rest is all prep and
presentation. Setup can be a little challenging. But once it’s done it’s done, and the effect is
worth the effort. The real mystery is why it took me sixteen years to write a review.
For starters, Jay is a fantastic teacher, very thorough. You will have to purchase a couple small,
inexpensive craft items, some of which you may already have lying around the house. It takes a
little practice to dial it in but it's fairly straight forward. Spectators just go completely
mental(in a good way :))
I always liked Jays magic tricks and I always like that he gives the correct and very clear
instructions . Highly recommended .
Can be performed almost anywhere. Takes only a few hours of practice and you are good to go. It does
have a setup so be prepared. If your ok with setups, this will surely please your audience.
Small in size which means very good for walk around. There is an instanst reset which is nice. I like
doing this while I am waiting in line or just dealing with money it's really cool and visual.
This is good to have for strolling and haunted routines. The handling will take some practice in
order to allow the spectators to "examine" the bill after the routine. The quality is pretty good.
This trick has been around for a long time, and it is certainly something to witness. A dollar bill
is sitting open in your hand and all by itself it starts folding up. I would give this effect five
stars but the set up can be kind of hard, and although it can be examinable, you would just have to
set it up all over again. If you don't mind those kind of tricks, then consider this. It's really
fun to perform.
TITLE and Creator: The Haunted Dollar Bill
Effect: Have a dollar bill (or any
denomination) visually fold in your hand, not once, not twice, but three times, all without you
touching it.
Price: $9.95 instant download for Penguin, plus the cost of supplies and
the dollar itself, total of less than $15
Teaching: I was a bit nervous to do an
instant download. I was worried that the teaching wouldn't be very good or that the trick would
require more manufacturing/gimmicking than I was really interested in doing. Boy, was I wrong. Jay
Noblezada teaches the trick so quickly and well that I found myself literally saying "Why couldn't I
come up with something like this?" The presentation is great, the audio/commentary is great, the
video is a bit compressed, but I was also watching on my laptop, so that might be a bit better on my
better computer.
Quality of materials(if it is a gimmik etc): This is, of course, going to
be all up to you. I purchased the materials at a local fabric store and got the highest quality I
could possibly find for a very good price. Because it's an instant download, the gimmick's quality
is all on the purchaser. If I might suggest, if you get the trick, gimmick it with the color black.
I won't go any more into it so as not to reveal anything.
Difficulty: The trick is
incredibly easy to perform. If you can hold your hand in front of you, you can do this trick. I
think it would benefit anyone that does close up magic. Restaurant walk around would work, out on
the street, pretty much anywhere.
Applications: I think it's a great trick for close up
magic, obviously. I think it could be put into a variety of applications and used in a variety of
situations. I showed the trick to my wife in our well lit living room (about the lighting of any
department store) and she had no idea how I was doing it, so I think it would be a trick that if you
had the angles down could easily be done in broad daylight as well. I plan on using it for Trick or
Treaters that come to the house this Halloween, as I am going as a magician and I would like to do
some tricks for the kids. However, the trick has gotten good reactions from several adults that I
have showed it to, as well. My wife actually went so far as to say it's now her favorite trick that
I know. The trick is simple...and like I have read several times...simple hits, and hits hard.
Overall Rating: For $15 if you need to get the stuff, it's a steal. If you've already got
the stuff to make the gimmick laying around (as I'm sure MANY magicians do) it's an even better
deal. I give it a NINE out of ten. I really like the trick.
