You definatly have quite a number of forces to choose from to suit you. Personally the force that suits me is hofzinser force. To me it is better than the classic force. Also great teaching. Here's a short overview....2 of 3 magicians found this helpful.
Camera Angles 9
(I hate the music they play on the menu. Not that it will keep you from buying it but that's my opinion.)
All in all it is AWESOME!!!!

I rarely call a magic dvd great but this really is. If penguin(thanks once again to Penguin) never had this in their cool box I might have never have found out and learned the roll over force which is awesome. Like it was created just for my style. Everything is good about this DVD in addition to the patter he teaches with the forces. This is almost a must have for any magician that uses their creativeness towards card tricks.1 of 1 magicians found this helpful.
Great Card Effects on a Single DVD Report this review

I Love magic but I am a rank amateur when it comes to magic especially card magic. This DVD is a terrific value and is just what I needed to get me proficient enough to learn other card tricks. I have had this on my wish list for a while because I think it was sold out when I first saw it. If you are new to cards and need a great course to help you become a real card man (or woman) this DVD will be money well spent.

ill start with the negatives, its a bit quick on the explanations and not many angles but since we live in the age of DVD neither of these concerned me because if I missed anything I could easily jump back to watch it again. I have been wanting to turn away from packet based tricks these days and lean towards more sleight of hand and fully examinable effects and this DVD has helped me greatly to begin my journey because if you can influence the outcome anything is possible and I must also add he has teachings for when things go wrong very helpful!!
The heart of card tricks Report this review

If you can't force a card.....you can't do many card tricks. Making someone have the card you want them to have is essential in card magic. This DVD is great for gaining this most basic knowlege required for success. Another reviewer says that this DVD is too boring. I agree that taking in how to come up with the same result 40 different ways can be a little bit boring, but it is what it is. With that said, it is the perfect instruction for you to have the choice of many ways to deliver the card you want your spectator to have. This DVD is very useful, informative, and yes, maybe a little boring, but the knowledge gained from this instruction is PRICELESS to the card conjurer. If you're going to be a "card handler," you need this one!
It is worth it :) Report this review

I have been doing magic for a long time and I know alot of forces. This covers everything and more! It is one of those products you need to get. To be great at magic you need to know your way around the deck. For as much as you learn it is worth every penny. If I know something is great I put my name on the line. I am Ryan Mileti this is worth getting :)

Probably the best instructional DVD I've ever purchased. The presentation is just a little on the dry side, which is why I say 9 stars instead of 10. But it is exceptionally clear and detailed. The forces range from the very simple to the more advanced ... and some are astounding even when you KNOW how they are done. I'd love to see MORE instructional DVDs like this.

I'd give it 10 stars out of 5, but the presentation IS just a little on the dry side so it only gets 9. ;-)
This is the most "bang for the buck" of any magic DVD I've purchased. 40 great forces with presentation suggestions ... some that require practice and some you will be using immediately.

I think this is a good resource and will teach you some very good techniques on how to force a card. The nice part is the variety of fources to go through and find a few you like and that are good for your performing style. I bought the DVD for finer points on the classic force and discovered several others that I liked as well such as the glide force. This is not an entertaining video thus the 4 stars however the material is well presented and will give you some very good options for forcing a card.
