I loved the stories of all the different magicians and David's encounters with celebrities and Paul Harris it's a very entertaining book. I don't read much, but I can say it's really entertaining. And it show's you some good magic methods.

I LOVED this book. After reading it, I had a much higher respect for David Blaine. He wrote this very mysteriously. It reads almost like a novel/biography in a way. Each section highlights a different element to Magic that influenced today's Magic. Interlaced in the sections, are different tricks. There are cool card tricks, coin tricks, mind reading tricks etc.

What really made this book grand was how insightful it was. The reader is taken through Blaine's mind and through the art of magic so much. Real respect has to be given to David for this. And if you want to learn some good tricks, they are here. It's not just a biography/novel. Also, there is apparently some kind of treasure map sort of thing in here. What appealed to me and stuck out the most, were the graphics. It was awesome to see some of the posters and old photographs, as well as the artwork. Good read guys! Worth every penny

I enjoy watching David, and his book is well written and very interesting. It not only gives you a look at who he is, but magic history and some great effects. I knock it down one star only because I do not feel it’s a must own…..however if for you magic is more than a passing fancy, I suggest you add it to your library!

this book is not for learning magic (it has some magic tricks for non-magicians, you know like the one most magicians teach in their tv specials) but it has alot of very interesting facts about magicians, history of magic, psychology behind it, etc.
i highly recommend this book, not just for blaine fans!

This is a great read, filled with interesting history of magic, a biography of Blaine himself, and even teaches some basic self working card tricks for those non-magicians out there.

I highly reccommend this to anyone interested in the history of magic or anyone who is a fan of Blaine's. A great read.

I really like this book. It is a good read that provides you with an inside look at the #1 best magician today. It also gives you a magic history throughout the ages. And as some extra baggage, he teaches you some basic affects. I reccomend!
