I liked this dvd from the first 5 minutes.
Garrett is a great teacher, everything is explained in details, and even the simplest tricks that you think will be figured out by your spectators, with Garrett's tips, are just plain Magical! This routine is an excellent piece of visual closeup. Garrett Thomas explains everything in detail.
As the description says, it really does look like trick photography. I love that it is impromptu and
works as an excellent lead in to coin work. Great for strolling magic.

The Ring Thing is a stunning piece of magic you can do anywhere! I am a big fan of Garrett Thomas
and his magic. He is a very unique and creative thinker, and this DVD portrays that very well. The
effect of you pulling a borrowed ring off your finger and throwing back on lightning fast... it's
very very visual. It's also surprisingly pretty easy once you get the basic sleights down. Garrett
also goes into very good detail regarding this effect so you should have no problem.

I love Rings, and I think they always make a riveting focus for magic. Every single effect shown on
the DVD (and there are many), is simple to do, fun to perform, and gets an incredible response. One
of my favorite tricks EVER!! I recommend going to a jeweler, getting your ring size on every finger,
writing it down, and then going on Overstock.com and buying a ring or two per finger. They're cheap
on Overstock, and it gives you tons of inspect-able interchangeable props that look great and are
easy to carry. Just wear your favorites every day! A DEFINITE buy for the price! Best ring tricks
I've ever found anywhere!

This is blatantly filled with the greatest ring magic on the market, by a landslide. Garrett Thomas
is truly a genius and deserves major credit for these effects. not only is it filled with the
classic 'ring thing' routine, but also loads of other effects equally impressive. (coin to ring is
amazing!)
the best part about these tricks is after you watch the dvd, you can perform it basically anywhere, anytime because loads of people wear finger rings! thanks Garrett! Did this review help you?

More great, visual magic from Garrett Thomas. The Ring Thing is a workhorse for me--I perform it all
the time. The angles aren't as bad as some people are saying--I've done this for large groups of
people plenty of times. This effect has ALWAYS gotten me a great reaction. Brilliant impromptu
magic. I highly recommend this.

So far, everything he's put out is gold. The Ring Thing is my new impromptu favorite. It's a
goldmine and an encyclopedia of ring manipulation. Worth every penny.

This DVD is awesome it goes in to so much depth on misdirection and making the ring thing look like
magic. He even teaches you some coin magic.
He kinda goes fast on the begining sleights and palms but when it comes down to the routines he shows it in 3 angles and then gives you tips on where to hold your fingers and such. Please pick up it's worth it Did this review help you?
