Manipulate ink drawing on a card is a staple in magic. However, this is unlike anything you had seen before. It is CGI level magic in real life.
From the mind of Sultan Orazaly, we are proud to introduce you "Memo Card".

In early 2020, Sultan Orazaly released "Quick Change" as a digital download via Murphy's Magic Supplies. Soon later, our team discovered this download and foreseen its potential. After months of refinement, here is what our Memo Card could do for you!

  • Self-Folding Origami! Our favourite so far!
  • Ink drawing to real life.
  • Ink Manipulation.
  • Color Changing Memo.
  • Torn or Restore.
  • Prediction.
With this purchase you will receive 1 pre-made gimmick that is housed in beautiful packaging and online instructions. In the tutorial, Zach Ng will teach you how to perform in stand-up and on-the-table environments. The gimmick is easy to operate and ready for the close-up, parlor and social media magic show.

Grab your Memo Card today and start showcasing your ideas! Available now worldwide.

I do not know if my gimmick is the exception to the rule or the rule, but mine required substantial rubber cement clean up, and although functional this is not the most durable gimmick, and even though there are no instructions on how to fix or make another gimmick. It does not seem too difficult to do.

The construct of the retail gimmick does not appear to follow any of the standards set by serious gaff workers like Jeremy Hanrahan, Richard Young, and Hondo. I am planning on making my own following their standards. The quality of this build leaves much to be desired.

I believe I will be able to find a use for this in my performance. What I lack now is practice. If it were not for the quality of the gimmicks construction. I would bump this up to a four as potentially practical.

Interesting concept... Report this review

Interesting concept, ...but it could be improved. For what it is, the price could be easily half. I really wish they spent more on the gimmick than the package, which in itself IS quite pretty. But, you in all likelihood will NEVER be whipping out the packaging to try to impress your spectators. It's the presentation, handling, and gimmick that should be what's important. The instruction is relatively good, although it seems like they strained to include extra content. The accents of the instructors are quite thick. But, if you can get past that they DO tell you everything you need to use the included gimmick. But if you were looking for information on how to make the gimmick for yourself, (which IMHO should have been included), you will be sadly disappointed. But, if you have at least a basic knowledge of making your own gaffs, then this shouldn't be too hard to figure out how to adapt this to your own needs.By itself, the gimmick is an essentially "one and done" type effect. Except, with a little creativity on YOUR part, it CAN be well adapted into some very powerful performances. It IS very angle sensitive. So, Audience management will be very important! As I said above, it IS a very interesting concept for a f***-card, (for the record that isn't a cuss-word, if you purchase this product you'll understand what I'm really referring to). So, it has a lot of potential to enhance other presentations. But, if used alone, it may be dissappointing.

Very VERY fragile. Report this review

After watching the tutorial and being as gentle as possible, the gimmick broke completely after some basic handling. I suppose it might be worth buying for use in an Instagram video if you're very careful, but I wouldn't get too excited about adding it to your regular routine.

Finally something that actually looks just like the demo. Personally I use the origami. The instructions are easy to follow. The gimmick is well made and if it breaks they Do Not teach you how to fix it...but common sense will tell you how to fix it. I'm happy with the price and product. May be difficult for really small hands to handle.
