Penguin Magic Classes - "How to Draw a Thought" - The Drawing Duplication Course

Learn how to know and reveal images that are physically drawn or only imagined.

Throughout this 8 week course you will learn seven of Chris's personal favorite approaches to this timeless premise.

Perfect for the casual and professional performer, these tools are ready to be utilized in professional strolling environments and are equally as effective in more casual settings.

You will learn when and how best to use these fundamental techniques using little more than simple everyday objects and stationary.

For seven weeks of the course you will learn a different approach each week. In the final week Chris will share his personal revelation structure for revealing a drawing that maximizes reactions and impact for your audiences. Finally he will discuss the importance of the fundamental techniques taught throughout the course.

Approach One - This week we will examine the benefits of a simple toolbox method that once you know, you'll never be without. It allows you to peek a full and folded business card that contains a secret drawing your spectator makes. This is the perfect answer to "Show me something" when you least expect it. Everything used can (and should be) borrowed. Opportunity will also be discussed so that you learn how to always capitalize upon it.

Approach Two - Here we will explore Chris's favorite approach for small groups. Using nothing more than everyday stationary you will learn how to read the minds of three or four people with one pencil and a business card. This full professional routine explores new and interesting territory that allows for maximum audience involvement and enjoyment.

Approach Three - This week we approach the premise from a new angle, where we will explore how it is possible to duplicate a thought the spectator never draws and only thinks about. This is another perfect, fully interactive experience of mind reading that is very easy to perform, works well one on one and for groups and is extremely deceptive.

Approach Four - Chris will share two connected yet separate systems that have unique benefits, take up minimal pocket space and allow you to know a drawn thought that is sealed into a regular pay envelope whilst your back is turned at distance.

Approach Five - Together we will explore and examine a fundamental technique that is less popular in these modern times. Allowing you to duplicate a drawing that is sealed up inside two regular envelopes. This sequence is Chris's answer to the "Two Envelope Test". Your spectator draws on a business card or index card, seals it inside two envelopes and you duplicate the image perfectly. You start and end completely clean. An alternative enhanced handling will also be taught.

Approach Six - This week we revisit approach five in a new and exciting way. Taking the objects used and transforming them from the ordinary into the invisible. This is a two phase whole "mini act" that you can perform at a moments notice with anybody. Perfect for the casual performer.

Approach Seven - Chris will share one of his most closely guarded approaches to the drawing duplication. This is one of the approaches he uses for people that have seen him duplicate a drawing before or for those extra smart people whom it never fails to deliver. Using nothing more than a single card and one envelope and under test conditions you will learn how to duplicate a drawing that you really never see! This fits in your pocket, the smallest wallet and will become a "go to" approach for you.

Week Eight - Here Chris will share his personal revelation structure for revealing a drawing that maximizes reactions and impact for your audiences. We will also talk about "Future Living" - a topic of great importance to Chris. Where he will discuss the importance of fundamental technique and why using them is both important and necessary.

In addition to the eight one hour classes Chris will be present for an additional hour after each class to hang out, answer further questions and connect with you all even more. This is direct access to a professional like you have never had before.

Class Policies

It is mandatory that all students have a working video camera and leave it on for the duration of each class.

These sessions are not to be recorded. Please do not use Zoom’s recording feature, or third-party recording software to store these classes for later viewing.

Registration can be cancelled or changed until 5 days prior to the class start date. If you are purchasing classes as a gift, it is your responsibility to inform us of the recipient’s name during checkout or by emailing support@penguinmagic.com. Late cancellations, transfers, name changes cannot be accommodated after the cancellation/change cutoff date.
