False Shuffles with Luke Jermay (Instant Download)
In stock: Download INSTANTLY.
This download features an overhand method of false-shuffing.. a tabled riffle shuffle, and in the hand riffle shuffle with a waterfall finish. Each of these shuffles retains full deck order. THESE ARE NOT PARTIAL SHUFFLES. THEY ARE COMPLETELY FALSE.
The ability to seemingly mix a deck while actually retaining a secret setup is a fundamental skill that you can use with all of your existing card magic and will constantly use in the future.

Turn A Light ON Report this review

The info was fine ... the lack of lighting is terrible. I can see (no pun intended) no reason to shoot a teaching video in the dark. It is hard to see the cards. There are shadows that block the cards. This information is available from other sources. I would not advise a friend to purchase this download. 2 stars for the information that I could see and no more.

A very good video - well taught - and a very good primer - I have also got Luke's video on false cuts. These are great videos to give you all the basic tools for card magic - highly recommended
Almost Worth 5 Stars Report this review

If it was a little bit longer and did go at a slower pace than it would it definitely be there at 5 stars. But since it wasn't on DVD and did go so quickly, it wasn't.
But get this anyways, because it really is worth the money.
gets the job done...but Report this review

I found the dark atmosphere coupled with the incredibly annoying background music, strong accent and fast pace to be a difficult learning environment. I'm sure with repeated viewings it will get the job done but it could have been produced with much more clarity

This download is good because it's short and to the point. It describes the moves clearly. These are important basic moves for card magic. I would recommend it.
Good shuffles Report this review

These cuts are by no means new, but you are paying for a skill that will be crucial to your career as a magician. The shuffles that you get here are usually offered elsewhere individually at a much higher price, so you are getting a pretty good deal here. Most of us magician usually just stick with the false cuts, but if you really want to sell the effect, you'll need to learn some good false shuffles.

This is a great value. You get multiple great, useful false shuffles. Don't get me wrong though! They definitely require some practice and patience, but it's DEFINITELY worth it! If you want to be good at card manipulation, I would definitely suggest this download!

I just purchased this and watched it a couple of times. To get this quality of teaching at this price is a bargain--albeit, it's only a download.
However, while Luke's performance is outstanding, I find his teaching style somewhat lacking.
Finally, a personal complaint--I hated the music! It's repetitive and distracting. I realize that "elevator" music is bland, but at least it would allow me to concentrate on the teaching!
Very good shuffles Report this review

Every card magician must know how to give the impression to fairly shuffle a deck, while retaining the entire order of the cards. I own several DVDs on that matter (Showoff with cards, Simon Lovell's gambling techniques), and I must say that I find this ID the best resource to learn false shuffles. Give those time and practice, and you'll be an expert before you know it.
