Week 1: “QUICKIES WITH CARDS”
If you like cards like I do join me!

My production of aces : It took me 20 years to gather all the elements to produce like I wanted 4 aces from a normal deck.

And a Two red kings effect: but not the usual one ! You have a card selected. Lost in the deck. To find the chosen card I need 2 guide cards but 2 random cards, for instance the 2 of hearts and the 7 of clubs, and thanks to these two I transform the 2 random cards into 2 red kings and in between is the selected card !

Week 2: CRAZY CARDS
Cards are my love, so bring your deck of cards that’s all !

I’ll teach you a crazy routine that I perform for 15 years… just a deck of cards you’re going to LOVE it ! This is a routine with many effects included. The deck is completely prepared for maximum effects. You have an effect with the aces that change places, and transform ! they changed for the kings. The queens appear. At the end all the cards are separated red on one side and black on the other.

Week 3: CLASSICAL MAGIC ? NO SUCH THING !!!
Cards will be required as well as 4 coins and a shell: see you there !

A coin across used for 20 years in my repertoire: PACK SMALL PLAY BIG:

I love this routine of coins that travel one by one thru the body to end in a glass. Everything is given to check at the beginning of the routine + at the end. The last coin is done in the hand of the spectator. Very clean, very effective. Works for close up situation, walk around, cocktail parties as well as parlor magic.

A routine with a deck of cards with some clever principle used: if you like to mix principles, join ! you have 2 cards selected in very clean conditions. You find them ! And to finish all the cards that were mixed face up face down are back in order.

Week 4: THE SOUND OF MAGIC !
5 coins for a Matrix taugh : this a Matrix I really LOVE I’ve added a few effects to the routine. We’ll see the importance of music.

And then I’ll teach you an impromptu wild card with NORMAL CARDS ! It’s very interactive, it’s like a game and you finish CLEAN !!!

Beyond her artistic talents, Alexandra Duvivier is also a trainer and a business speaker (innovative methods of communication using magic) and an instructor for the first ever diploma in magic recognized by the Ministry of Labor in France.

Class Policies

Classes are not recorded and thus no video is available after class even if you miss a class. These classes are intended to be a personal safe spaces for all ages, that foster trust and confidence, where you can ask questions and demonstrate magic without fear. The drawback to this is that if you miss a class, it's not available after. Notes may be available, but not guaranteed.

It is mandatory that all students have a working video camera and leave it on for the duration of each class.

These sessions are not to be recorded. Please do not use Zoom’s recording feature, or third-party recording software to store these classes for later viewing.

Registration can be cancelled or changed until 5 days prior to the class start date. If you are purchasing classes as a gift, it is your responsibility to inform us of the recipient’s name during checkout or by emailing support@penguinmagic.com. Late cancellations, transfers, name changes cannot be accommodated after the cancellation/change cutoff date.
