Minutes after getting it i was already to perform, I did for the first time later that night and up to date, my friend is still hesitant to let me touch any light bulb around her. This is one of those effects that ALWAYS provokes a great reaction (especially depending on your patter).

Pros:
-Seconds to learn secret
-Minutes to get down handling
-Gimmick will last a long time
-Gimmick is well hidden throughout
-Always gets an amazing reaction (normally shock/disbelief)
-Plays in great with acts (like my Halloween show)

Cons:
-I can't really come up with any...

this is great: easy to perform and if ur performance is on point the reactions will be too. the gimmick is easy to conceal. the only con i have is that the idiots that make thumb tips, or other 'skin colored' gimmicks are made with a white person in mind. no one else other than a white person is doing magic today?! come on people get with the program...

I absolutely LOVE this effect. I use mine in a ziplock baggie so that the shards don't go everywhere and people absolutely lose their minds. I think this is a great utility and if you use it, you can get great reactions.

The only con. I think the gimmick is larger then it needs to be. The good thing about the gimmick is that it is high quality and will last forever...but I think it could have been made about half the size so that it is easier to conceal/clean up.

All in all, great buy!

This is one that I really wanted to be a goto piece for my mentalism act, but it never really worked out. I went through about ten light bulbs, and only two actually "exploded." The rest would either break off the bulb in one large chunk, or cause the bulb to just crumble.

But I did want to respond to one criticism from an earlier reviewer that "flesh color" of the apparatus didn't match darker skin tones. Like the TT, if it's the color shade that gives you away, you are not holding or operating it correctly.

This is an ingenuous effect that produces gasps for audiences. I recommend it without reservation!

I used this in my recent "Unseen Forces" tour. This little item packs a punch! Easy to use. You can put the bulb in a clear plastic bag or as I do, just have a cloth held by two spectators under the bulb for ease in clean up!

That's really good gimmick!! Easy to perform and you can do this anytime, anywhere with a normal bulb. I am gonna use in my magic show at school on stage!
