XPAND is a handmade mechanical card gimmick that allows you to perform a special effects miracle with a SIGNED card. The effect starts out with a spectator selecting and signing a card so far in their mind nothing unusual. Then things get very weird and the spectator soon realizes that this is not the typical “pick a card” “find a card” trick. With THEIR SIGNED CARD in full view the entire time, they witness something impossible. YOU VISUALLY SHRINK THEIR CARD. After you have changed the physical properties of their SIGNED CARD you then restore the card to the original signed condition and hand it out for immediate examination. It's a really cool method but a little angle sensitive but not too much and can be easily hidden so when I perform it I use another gimmick along with it to ditch it and other than that it is an awesome two DVD set with extra ideas and tips

I want to start by saying, I really do like Xpand, but it just doesn't cut it in my opinion.
I've been practicing in the mirror and the gimmick feels completely obvious. The effect is really cool looking, but if the angle is even a little bit off it is totally exposed. I understand that it takes practice to perform like the trailer, but there is a point in the routine where you openly hold the deck and the secret is just blaring. Maybe its just because I know its there, but I don't even want to risk performing it, and having someone notice the secret. I think the material Justin Miller teaches on the bonus dvd is way better than the actual xpand dvd. He teaches more effects, better effects, and goes into much more detail about every little move. If I do perform this it will be Justin's methods. I haven't given up completely though. I will keep practicing, but I think this gimmick is just too visible. I wouldn't say its difficult to perform this, but I would not recommend it. Did this review help you?
All the other saying this not good are wrong, this rocks. so cool gimmick well make and in dvd show how to make new ones .buy it very very good.
