Direct from Bill Abbott's professional repertoire and showcased in his best selling book Table Magic, Stabbed and Shot is a killer card stab with a shot glass production that comes out of nowhere!

The Routine
A card is selected from a shuffled deck - signed - returned and shuffled by a spectator. An empty paper bag that is examined by the audience is introduced and the deck is tossed inside. A spectator is asked to shake the bag to mix the cards and make the finding of the chosen card even more impossible. The magician removes a knife and stabs it into (and through!) the bag. Violently the knife is ripped from the bag and a single card is impaled on the end of the blade... the spectator's signed selection!

Just when the audience applause has died down the performer reaches into the bag and produces a large shot glass filled to the brim with water! (Or other liquid)

  • Perform Stabbed and Shot in short sleeves.
  • The shot glass production uses real liquid and is BULLETPROOF and safe.
  • Can be performed close-up and surrounded or on stage.
  • Reveal one or two cards at the point of a knife.
  • You can even borrow the bag, the knife and the deck!
  • Instant reset.
Package Includes:
  • Large Shot Glass.
  • Durable Seal that you never need to replace.
  • Extra Secret Something for a sure-fire card stab revelation.
  • Supply your own knife.
  • A 90 minute DVD that features a house party performance, a comedy club performance and a studio performance
  • In-depth instruction of the rouine and method.

  • Cupid (the double stab for lovers)
  • Borrowed (borrow the deck, bag, knife and shot glass)
  • The Ninja Card Trick (classic!)
  • And much much more!

THE most commercial, amazing effect Report this review

I ordered this directly from Bill about a year ago when he first released it, and have used it hundreds of times in many, many professional gigs. This is THE most amazing, commercial effect you will ever purchase. Many question people have:

- Do you need to use a knife? No, I use an ice pick. You can also use a very sharp pencil or letter opener. Anything with an edge works.

- Can I use this for a kid or family show? YES! I made a modified version where you pull the card out with your hand (instead of stabbing it), and still rip the bag. Then produce a small stuffed animal out of the bad instead of a shot glass. PLAYS HUGE FOR FAMILIES!

Buy it. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. In my top 10 of all time.

youll love this... Report this review

this gets BIG reactions. ive done this about 6-7 times so far and it is unanimous the reactions it gets. very easy to do...youll need to practice for smoothness. 30min tops then you can give this a "shot." pun intended. seriously though im a mentalist and i dont want to confuse ppl by saying "i dont do magic tricks, im a mentalist" but i will definately do this trick whenever i can. i love it!

heres what they see. a card is selected, signed, and legitimately lost in the deck. you dont need to know where it is. you drop the shuffled deck in a paper bag(examined and thus verified as empty), then shove a pen thru ripping it out and yes, its there signed card. as you put the cards away you forgot one more thing in the bag...yep, its a full shot glass with liquid inside. thats the part that really really messes the spectator up. theyre already amazed by the first part but then comes the shot. "no f'n way!"

A fun illusion Report this review
Verified buyer Pro Privacy ON (login to see reviewer names) on September 27th, 2012
I love Bill Abbott's materials.
This illusion is fun to perform. However the appearance
of the glass is not congruous with the stabbed card.
Yet I would say that this illusion on it's own is entertaining and enjoyable to watch and perform.
I plan to see if it will fit into a routine using multiplying bottles. There seems to be a link that could put such a performance together.

A Real Worker Report this review

Bill Abbott has clearly done this routine hundreds if not thousands of times. This can be done up close at banquet tables, at house parties, or on stage. He has a great routine for a wedding, and tells you how to do it impromptu.

He teaches a great card control (The spectator shuffles the deck!) and how to instantly reset for table-hopping/strolling performances.

The teaching is in-depth. I believe this is a great value for a solid, versatile routine that can be done almost anywhere.

People are shocked enough when you produce the card, but stunned when the shot glass is produced.

Huge reactions guaranteed Report this review

I'm a sucker for any trick that has a double ending and Bill Abbott does not disappoint when it comes to bringing out the "OMG factor" in your audience... I've done this a couple of times to date and the card production is very dramatic but when the shotglass comes out I get screams and laughter like you wouldn't believe.

I disagree with the review below that says you can make this yourself... in reality I probably could, but for a few extra bucks I'd rather pay for a custom gimmick that I know will work every time without fail.

It's going in my show Report this review

There is nothing really new here....instead, you get a TON of practical and useful information abiut doing this trick. The shot portion of the trick...again, no new principles, but a very well thought out process.

It is such a joy to see a professional doing good solid material that has so many presentational paths.

Props supplied are good. Dvd is good.

I will definately be using this in my stand up show.

Good Effect Report this review
Verified buyer Pro Privacy ON (login to see reviewer names) on September 18th, 2012
Its a good effect but I mean for the price you could kind of make this yourself. I really wasn't blown away by it to be honest not that it isnt a good trick just think its alittle bit too expensive.
