Your Name Here
Out of stock.
One of the coolest ice breakers in magic, Your Name Here is destined to become a staple item in the repertoire of working magicians all over the world! Here's just a sample of what can be accomplished with this utility opener:
The strolling magician approaches a group of people. They notice that his name tag has been left blank. With just a wave of his hand, the magician makes his name magically appear on the tag!
The magician approaches a table wearing his name tag and has a card selected. Waving his hand over the tag, his name visually changes to the name of the selected card!
Your Name Here comes complete with everything needed: custom-made plastic tags, marker and booklet of nearly a dozen cool routines! Everything is fully reusable, reset takes half a second and you can perform the effect any time in your routine. If you perform magic in the "real world" this may be one of the finest openers you could ask for!

I read the description and thought that this would be a great opener to use. However I want to say this and warn anyone reading this away from it. The gimmick is poorly made (broke really quickly), highly visible (it's supposed to be concealed in plain site, but really isn't), noisy, and really just awful.2 of 3 magicians found this helpful.
There is some palming involved, similar to how you'd change a card, and because of that the way it works is just awful. I would really recommend against this trick.

Ignore the negative reviews and watch this demo by Paul Richards:1 of 1 magicians found this helpful.
Imagine going up to a restaurant table or group at a strolling gig wearing a name tag with no name. People will IMMEDIATELY comment on that. You now perform an highly visual piece of magic to break the ice
There is no noise issue. Hobbyists open this up and try it and it makes a small amount of noise, so they they review based on that. WRONG!
Pro's work in environments where there is small amount of ambient noise, so Your Name Here can't be heard.

It's true that it is noisy to change it, it doesn't seem too much like a real name tag, and it is easy to mess it up.1 of 2 magicians found this helpful.

Don't know why most people are giving the trick bad reviews. It is a bit noisy, but it is not a problem. I can prove that, because 2 magicians used this on Amercias Got Talent.
