I first bought this trick back in February 19th, 2005 and it only cost me x.95! Now this trick sells for x.08, I don't understand how such a simple gimmick could go up in price by that much in 6 years. Good trick, leaves people puzzled and wanting more magic but you gotta watch out to not loose any bands! Four stars because the price is now outrages!

This is a pocket miracle that is easy to carry and will blow people away. You can do a lot with it. I have built a whole routien around it. Add this indispensible piece of magic to you cart now!

Just like the folding half dollar but more availability this one would be the most used one but finding the right refills are a little hard for the quarter one. This one just like most tricks are very amazing and again small in size but can astonish people.

The quality of this device is top-notch. The gimmick is made from a real quarter. The handling takes a little bit of practice and experience in coin manipulation and sleight-of-hand.
Unfortunately, this amazing effect received too much attention on the Internet and television. I'll use this until I can figure out a way to present it in a new way.

This is not something I would recommend anymore to people. I used to do it back in the day, but unfortunately because of the popularity of this trick since David Blaine did it, the effect just doesn't have the punch that it used to. For some no doubt its a great trick and they do well performing it, but for me, not really a miracle-status or reputation-making effect anymore.

The trick is over done, particularly by beginners in the trade who often perform this poorly. The trick is also over-exposed, which like many of David Blaine's effects he did on his first specials, has led to countless people exposing the effect online and on television. In fact, this may well be the EASIEST trick to find exposure on online. Not my cup of tea.

If you really like this effect, go for it. Just know its widely done and exposed. You will need to practice, particularly a darn-good switch, if you are to perform this well. This is a gimmick that cannot be inspected, so a switch is essential. Also, because of it's realism, you will want to make sure that you don't accidentally lose this or mix it up somewhere (like in your piggy bank!)

This is very visual, and will amaze people. I used to keep one in my pocket at all times, but then accidently spent it one day...a very costly mistake. If you're into coins, then definitely get this.

This is a fantastic idea for whoever created it, and something that a lot of magicians get started with when they first start out magic for 3 reasons.

-It's VERY cheap.

This effect is super effective but ONLY 13 dollars for a prop that will last you for YEARS.

-EFFECTIVE!

People freak out. This is a trick that people are familiar with and have seen David Blaine do on TV. This is something people really enjoy and can NEVER figure out.

-EASY!

This effect is one of the easiest effects you can do. There is ONE simple move and that is IT to perform this great effect. This move is taught well in the booklet/page that comes with it.

I really enjoy this effect, even now, years after I bought it and can't reccomend it enough to those who don't have it.

This trick is pure visual, in their face magic. The great thing about this trick is that you only need to use one sleight and then the rest of the routine is pretty much straightforward!

Price: Great effect for the price!

Teaching: Oz does a great job as always!

Quality of materials(if it is a gimmik etc): The gimmick is okay, but the secret is a bit too visible for my comfort, but it gets by.

Difficulty: relatively simple, not too hard.

Applications: I would suggest it for street performers mainly.

Overall Rating: 8/10, average, ever since david blaine did it, everyone has seen it now, so it isn't AS good.

Here is a great trick you can add to your coin magic routine. The name says it all, you show the quarter to your audience (you can even borrow it if you want) and then you take a huge bite out of it. Right away, you spit it back at the coin and it's instantly restored.

If you don't mind carrying around some extra stuff that grab this one. Just be careful however, because people will be asking you to do this one a long time after you've performed it.
