In stock: usually ships within 24 hours!
When party guests request a few tricks, be prepared. Ask for a coin, and perform some of the tricks in this book. Because you will not have been aided by special stage apparatus, the results will be all the more astonising. As tricks with coins are so readily improvised, they are among the most impressive forms of legerdemain.

The reference book for coin magic. No magician should be without this book. At under $10, this
is a gold mine of material. The book is appropriately broken down into chapters that go from the
basic sleights to most major facets of coin magic. You start with the foundations of coin magic,
the utility switches, the vanishes, and the palms.
There are literally hundreds of tricks to choose from in this tome so plan on spending a lot on time on the varied chapters. Aside from the excellent basic teaching of palms, switches and vanishes, you get chapters transpositions, color changes, gaffed coins, shells, sleeving, and finally full routines such as the Miser's Dream. My favorite are the copper/silver tricks and there is some amazing, in-the-spectator's hand transpositions. A few downsides to this fabulous book. First, the book is no longer "modern" as some of text is from a by-gone era. Largely, the text translates well into modern patter and attire. Second, a lot of the new, types of coin gaffs are not covered by this book. Overall, this book could keep you busy for years. Did this review help you?

This book is a good read and there is something for everyone and im sure you can get something from
it, but lets face it it is hard to learn coin magic from a book. It just does'nt work for me. I
would probably say get this because it is not exspensive and the basics are taught well, but if you
are advanced in coin magic then I say there are other things you could buy. When it comes down to it
though this book was a pretty big dissapointment.

I like how everything is very detailed I like to see all the different teachings in the make your
own gimmick's section. A lot of sleight's are introduced but they are the one's you need some didn't
make the cut because they weren't revelant so you know you got a very good product.

This is a must have for any magician at any level. If you're new to coin magic, then this will give
you the basics. Even if you're a pro, this book will give you ideas for new routines. For any
magician into coins, it all starts here.

I usually try to stay away from reviewing classic texts of magic, but this is a MUST. It doesn't
matter how long you've been into magic for. You need this book. COin magic is almost all of what I
do and I learned a ton from this book. A few of the tricks are a little outdated but others are
really good and can work wonders for you. WIth a lot of them, you can grab a coin and do a full 20
minute show with it. Others might require 2 or 5 coins. Some use gimmicks, some aren't gimmicked.
There is also a really nice miser's dream and historical section towards the back of the book. My
favorite part is the Okito story, how it came to be. PLEASE BUY NOW!

I honestly can't speak highly enough of this book. Let me start off with the fact that this single
book started off my whole interest in magic, and every time I go back to it I pick up new slights,
subtleties, and flourishes that weren't possible the last time I read it. You get almost every basic
coin vanish, routines with those vanishes, and several amazing high caliber routines like the
miser's dream and winged silver. If you were to buy something like this in a video/DVD format, it
would probably cost over $50, but with this book you can get so much great material for this low
price. If you have any interest in ever doing anything with coins, buy this book.

This book is a great buy for anyone who wants to, or is currently doing coin magic. This book has
everything from basic magic, to more advance magic. Anything that's done in the coin magic world,
palms, vanishes, transpositions, etc, this book has.
Unfortunately, if you don't learn well from books, it might be a challenge but there are a lot of illustrations provided to make it simple. In this book, you will learn many many routines that you will find natural. By this I mean that this isn't just mumbo jumbo stuff that you'll never use. Once again, if you're into coin magic, this book is a great compliment to "In the Beginning.." by Jay Noblezada. ADD TO CART! Did this review help you?
