When you subscribe to Card Club, you become part of an exclusive group of collectors who put quality and value above all else.

Whether you're a veteran collector or just starting to build your deck empire, Card Club is the perfect choice for expanding your collection at an unbeatable price.

Each Card Club package includes 4 decks of cards - 2 each of 2 different designs. Each deck is exclusively produced by Penguin Magic, and Card Club subscribers will often be the first to receive these decks - long before they are made available for sale to the public.

Why 2 of each? We've found that a majority of collectors like to have one deck to open up and play with to enjoy the beauty of the cards, but another to keep sealed forever to maintain the value.

As a subscriber, you can rest easy knowing that throughout the year you will receive all of our for-sale decks without ever having to remember a release date again. Simply sit back and let the decks come to you.

We have an ambitious deck release schedule, so you will receive a new package most months of the year. Once in awhile we may skip a month in order to bring you the best designs and quality possible, but you will ONLY be charged in months when you receive a package.

Every month Kevin Reylek will give you a detailed video overview of your decks so that you know the artist, the printer, and any other fun factoids!

Card Club is unquestionably the superior way to make sure you obtain all of Penguin's amazing decks throughout the year, and at the best price to boot.

*Card Club is not a retroactive subscription. You will receive all packages sent from the date you join and onward for as long as you remain subscribed.

Decks for October:

Halloween: Natalia Silva, the talented artist behind the Christmas deck and Russian Folk Art deck, has put her cute & creative spin on every magician's favorite holiday - Halloween. The ENTIRE deck has been created from the ground up. Each card face has a unique piece of Halloween-themed art ranging from bats to skeletons to spooky cupcakes. The diptych Jokers combine together to form one beautiful piece of art, while the back design perfectly captures the mood of the season. Two special gaffed cards are included in every deck, and it's all capped off with a custom tuck box. Printed at USPCC on Bicycle stock & Premium finish with a traditional cut, these cards feel as good as they look. Only 3,100 decks printed!

Spider Web: This fresh deck can actually be used all year long to give someone a fright. Designed around one of the world's most pervasive phobias, the Spider Web deck from designer Ben Kolozsi brings subtlety to your scare. The custom tuck and back design feature an intricate web, while the Joker has a realistic depiction of a Spider. Special gaffed cards allow you to make the spider vanish from one card and reappear on another! The deck also features a custom Ace of Spades and custom-colored court cards. Printed by the USPCC on Bicycle stock with Premium finish, this is our most limited deck to date, with only 1,000 made.

Great Deal & Great Cards Report this review

Been a subscriber for 4 months now and have been thoroughly impressed with the quality of this card club. This is the perfect deal for any card collector. The four decks you receive each month are worth almost double what you would pay elsewhere, and that doesn't include the cost of shipping from those other places. Great cards! Great price! I highly recommend this deal to any magician, cardist or collector out there. I'll be keeping this subscription for the foreseeable future.

Don't like the changes Report this review
Pro Privacy ON (login to see reviewer names) on July 17th, 2016
The changes to card club for me are not worth it. I have stopped my subscription. I don't like the limitation of only being penguin decks and I really don't like getting two of the same deck. Change it back or give a choice to us and I will come back.

The decks are real cool. I particularly like the side opening.
I have never seen that before.
the gaff cards are neat but I would really like to see the tricks you can do with them. Probably elementary for most magicians but a little review wouldn't be bad.
Can’t wait untill next month.

I Dig It Report this review

I only just joined in July, but I love the 2x2 format. You get two sets of two Penguin Magic-exclusive decks. I use my cards, so this gives me the option of keeping one sealed for my collection. If I really love the cards (see: Architects), I'll use both decks and buy more. August seems to be following the trend of offering decks I find desirable, so it's a win so far.

Great Deal on Excellent Cards Report this review

I personally love the "two each of two decks" approach. This way, I don't have to feel guilty about putting my cards to hard use. Think of it as buying two PM-exclusive decks and getting two free, which is fantastic.

July Set a High Bar Report this review
Pro Privacy ON (login to see reviewer names) on July 22nd, 2016
I personally love the two-deck deal. I prefer to have a spare of any given deck so I don't have to feel bad about wearing one out. July had two amazing and wildly different designs from the same talented artist, and both are amazing. I instantly want to buy a brick of Architects. They look and feel incredible, although I'd prefer all royalty going forward to receive some amount of color work. The turn-of-the-century carnival theme depicted in the Steeplechase Park deck is unique and well-executed, with a beautifully muted dark blue standing in for the black suits. I feel like I bought two of the year's best decks and got two free.

A surprisingly good value Report this review

I absolutely recommend Penguin's Card Club.

I'm more of a playing card collector than I am a serious magician or cardician, although I do enjoy dabbling in both. As a collector, I already acquire a large number of decks each month.

Penguin's Card Club sends me four decks per month, and pretty much every month I get one or two decks I was curious about but passed up on during their initial release (usually because of price), I get one or two decks I already have and very much like (and so, don't mind getting a redundant back-up), and then one or two decks that hadn't even occurred to me to pick up (possibly didn't even know about) but that are nonetheless nice additions to the collection. The price per deck ends up being quite reasonable.

From time to time, you even get a preview of a deck you didn't even know was coming. June 2016's edition included the new Westminster deck, for example, and the Black Honeybee, which hasn't even been formally announced, yet.

All-in-all, I find this to be a great value.

International shipping and customs Report this review
Pro Privacy ON (login to see reviewer names) on August 9th, 2016
If it weren't for the international shipping (to Canada) and the Customs Lottery(may or may not be dinged for customs charges), this is a great deal.
But alas poor yorick, when you live with the Huskies in the igloo with the midnight sun....it is the same price per deck at twice the cost and then higher if one wins the customs lottery.
