I prefer the professors nightmare, but this one is adequate too. I thought that the teaching was a bit rushed, uncharacteristically Oz. Once you have this down, it will be a fooler. Get it

If you've always loved the cut and restored rope, this is a great place to start. The routine is amazing and you are 100% clean in the end too. If you are wanting to get more serious into rope magic, consider buying this along side of the Fiber Optics DVD. With both of these, you'll be a pro in no time. I've performed this for friends and family and they loved it.

Three or more cuts and you still have a restored rope. It's a great rope trick. Easy to do and awe inspiring. Do it anywhere and they'll know; it's magic.

I wanted to learn my friend how to cut and restore a rope so I performed the trick without covering the "secret". And he still did not understand how it is done! This trick is THAT good.

Another classic magic trick tackled by the folks here at penguin...and its dirt cheap. While it is the most basic of rope routines it is still great for parlor and stage, and a great introduction into the rope magic realm. ADD to card. Cheap, easy, powerful....

Good trick. Very easy to do, and audiences get a kick out of seeing it. I do this in my act and I pass around the rope to people so they can see that it is a real rope and not gimmicked. I love the ending Oz shows. You end clean unlike the versions that most magic books show. Gave it four stars because you can find a variation of this trick on almost any beginner magic book, but overall a good trick.

I was looking for a good stage trick and came across this one. I decided to buy it, it was so cheap and it said it was for beginners. I wasn't disappointed! You start and end clean; you can show the rope completely restored; and Oz teaches this in great detail. ADD TO CART!!!

This trick is the most simple, straight forward,smooth moving rope trick in the WoRlD! I say another thumbs up to oz. you might have seen my review for the eye of the tiger that is titled MORE LIKE 1,000,000 STARS well that was a good trick but nothing compared to this. to anyone who came up with this trick keep it going and never stop. amen to this trick. ADD TO CART!!!!!!!! NOW!!!!!!!!

Oz does a great job explaining this wonderful illusion. I had problems understanding drawings of the methods in my magic books, but Oz really makes this quite easy to follow in this video. I also love the second phase handling of this. It really makes for a strong finish.
