There are a couple things going on here, and they work in perfect unison to create a clean prediction effect.

The deck can be dealt, or they can name a number and deal to that number, or they can cut the deck. Because of the techniques, this will always work out in your favor, and your prediction will always be correct.

There are no gimmicks, no psychological forces, no rough-and-smooth cards, and you are not prompting them to choose a certain number.
