This DVD set is probably only worth buying if you are a serious manipulator (NOT sleight of hand,
rather for 'showing off' your card skills). The DVDs showing and explaining the moves will no doubt
help your technique.
There is one large problem with this set- Jeff Sheridan. He is an entirely odd, underwhelming personality. There is little in his performance style to suggest anything exciting or mysterious. in the hands of a Jay Sankey or Daryl, some of Sheridan's effects could really blow spectators' minds. Sheridan comes across as an awkward teenager who kept on practising sleight of hand as he grew, but never learned about performance or entertainment. I was debating giving this set 3 stars, but I think that this would be overly generous, given my boredom watching the 'magic' happen. Did this review help you?

I do like the work of Jeff. I was surprised that I could only find two reviews of this collection.
I'm glad I got this as part of a package deal and didn't pay a lot. The problem is that many of the
effects are outdated (cigarettes and pipes) and many require expensive gimmicks and no details are
included on where one might get them. He is a wonderful magician, but a poor teacher. He goes fast
and glazes over everything. However, there are a few tricks and concepts that are quite worth the
time and I do love watching him perform.

the dvds are good but not great the tricks included are quite complex and not so visual it is more
toward the stage magician

I have been lucky enough 2 see Jeff perform live and also see his street act. The crowd went nuts.
Keep in mind many of the street performers were mime & had 2 get the people walking bye 2 stop and
look. So this was a gift when in locations like NEW YORK OR CALIFORNIA you see it all.
I do realize that Jeff is a dry performer and we need 2 understand that this master has taught his secrets 2 the top magicians in the world that do card work. There is a reason = they look like magic. I am interested in seeing the methods and little extra tips and enjoyed the detail Jeff shared. Many of the really hard methods after watching several times get easy-ERRR but still require time. I would say pick 1 or 2 productions / vanishes and start there so U have a way 2 produce a prediction in a kool fashion or vanish the wrong card 2 only produce the right card. Many years of hard work have been perfected 4 us 2. Thanks 2 Jeff. Did this review help you?
