After ogling and handling these cards for 30 minutes, I came straight here and bought a brick. I've
never had a EPCC-produced deck before, but the finish on these cards is excellent. This deck has
jaw-dropping looks and standard faces that make it perfect for any magician, cardist, or player.
This may be my deck of the year so far.

love em. easily my favorite tuck box EVAR. love the ace of spades and joker design. i think the back
design might look better reversed, with more blue and less white, but still look soooooo damn sexy!
i could go on, but the guidelines say no profanity, and thats 95% of my vocabulary, so ill leave it
at that. they're f#@%ing beautiful!

This is a great deck - Jared Hansen has designed a real worker here - thanks Penguin really loving
your new line of designer decks

Okay, so there is no double backer or blank-faced card, but neither does Bicycle. I'm sure everyone
has a million bicycle decks laying around without complaining.
Honestly, these are some of
the nicest cards I've handled in a long time. My go-to "designer" deck is Monarchs. These almost
as good. I say almost because they don't fan quite as well, or maybe they just don't look as good
with the black on white contrast. However, it's been a couple months since I purchased this, and
I'm still using the same deck that I opened when I first purchased the brick. Usually, I would have
gone through two or three Monarchs by then.
The back design of the cards is very elegant,
and it conveys a "minimalist" look. They faro right out of the box perfectly, and have the other
thousand times I've faroed the deck. The edges are not frayed or discolored.
The faces are
not the generic card faces, but the fonts are a little sharper and thinner, more modern looking in
my opinion, but with keeping the same traditional style in mind. The finish of the cards look like
linen, which adds a nice character to the deck when viewed much closer.
The tuck box is
great! I love the silver. It draws attention but it's not overbearing.
I bought this on
sale for half off, and I'm very happy with my purchase. I'm confident that these decks will last me
a lot longer than I thought.
I purchased a brick of these during the Christmas sale, and I couldn't be happier. They faro
perfectly right out of the box: a rare thing to find. They fan beautifully and the thin borders add
to the elegance. The linen look and feel just top it all off. Normally I don't buy bricks of cards
that aren't 808s, but this is the best deck purchase I have made in a long time. Highly
First things first; The stock is not bicycle, the finish is clumpy, and you don't even get the
slightest hint of a gaff card. I guess you could say that this Architect needs to go back to the
drawing board *Insert Laugh Track Here*
Well made, smooth as silk, wish a couple of gaffed cards were tossed in as well for us magic guys,
but oh well. Still a great deck.
This is a beautiful deck. Many times specialty decks will tamper with the face pips and thankfully
the 'Architect' deck keeps it in the traditional form, which provides clarity in choices and doesn't
distract attention from the routine at hand. The backs are white with mild blue printing and very
attractive. The cards handle very well and is replacing my current carry around deck. I do wish they
could have tossed in a couple of pre-gaffed cards for us magical folks as a number of modern playing
card versions are doing and since it's for the most part released for the magic fraternity and they
are the ones who will be predominately buying it. Kind of expensive for what's basically just a
pretty deck but well made.
These cards looks great, so do Bicycle and Bee cards.

Why did I pay more for cards that look as good and feel identical
to 2.00 cards? Because I got them for sale. Still feels like a rip off. Do yourself a favor and
ignore all designer cards, they will not make you a better magician, and they look suspicious.
