I love Sankey's latest reinvention of an old classic cups and balls. I love everything Sankey and
this one will not let you down. As lovers of the art of magic we need to be well rounded and be able
to do different kinds of magic. I hesitated to do cups and balls because 1. Cups and Balls are
pretty expensive and 2. Too much to carry. The Magus Capsule is the answer. Get this if you want to
incorperate cups and ball routine into your arsenal.

Jay Sankey has come up with a really good idea. For anyone who enjoys performing the cups and balls,
this is a great portable set that you can carry around with you all the time. As a bonus, these
product also contains the built in chop cup to help eliminate some of the slight of hand that is
normally used in the cups and balls. Although this is a good product, I still prefer the original
cups and balls. I think they look nicer when performing, and I like the weight of the cups. Anyways,
if you are looking for an inexpensive but yet high quality set of cups, get this. Plus you get some
bonus stuff on the DVD too.

this is a great effect i would recommend it to anyone. the only problem i had is that my two halves
dont connect very unless you hold it sideways they come apart. oh and the other problem was in the
video it says you get blue knit balls. mine were a dirty white. overall a great effect :).

I just got my Capsule and it is brilliant! (Despite some reviewers saying they had to fiddle with
the edges, my Capsule opens and closes easily.) I like it because it looks NOTHING like "Cups and
Balls". Indeed, you don't even have to use the balls! Jay includes routines on the DVD that use
all kinds of objects. The "Wild Fire" routine is particularly killer, in which you flame a signed
piece of flash paper that then reappears intact within the Capsule, WITHIN THE SPECTATORS OWN HANDS!
Even better, I found that I could fit one of the new Mini Sharpie markers right inside the capsule,
along with the lighter and paper...making this a completely self-contained pocket trick!

I think that the cups and balls are such a popular and well used magic trick because its perfect for
what it is, Jay Sankey has tried to come up with a better design but its not that great (sorry Jay,
you win some you lose some).
The magus capsule just isn't the cups and balls, its like drinking light beer, its just not the same. The DVD that accompanies the capsule however is extremely useful, Jay teaches moves that can be used anywhere, false transfers and the like, I trick people with these moves without the capsule. If your a first timer with cups and balls oriented tricks than this might be a bit harder to master than some of the other tricks you may have purchased, it really is all slieght of hand and you need lots of practice before you perform this. I wish I had of just bought the cups and balls, think about that. Did this review help you?

Well, I thought I'd like this, but I guess it wasn't for me. If u wanna carry around the cups and
balls, and if you're good at creating new things, go for it. But for now, it's going on my shelf.

THe maagus capsule enables you to get away with alot of sneaky stuff!
Jay explains everything in detail and also teaches you a little of the art of paper folding!!! But because this is only one object instaed of three cups there is sometimes a lack of routines, so when you buy this please dont say THEY'RE ALL THE SAME (because i hate to say i told you so!)!!! Well Jay I have seen better from you. The concept is great but you really do not go into great
detail with the routines. They're just a wam bam thank you ma'am. But as always the bonus stuff at
the end made up for the short tricks. I do cups n Balls in restaurants, and there not that bulky.
But I am trying to incorporate your Capsule into my routine. But OverAll Good Job.

Jay's Magus Capsule is a great addition to any close-up worker. Don't listen to any of the negative
reviews. It took me about 3 minutes to get the capsule to come apart just the way I want it. Just
take a pair of needle nose pliers and crimp the 3 ridges just slightly, then rub them with some fine
steel wool and do the same with the inside of the top capsule. I'm sure not everyone likes them the
same way so you can adjust it as necessary. The DVD is excellent and well worth every penny.

I never really thought about the cups and balls before, they never really appealed to me, because of
the amount of space they take up, and the room you need to perform. I love my cards and coins for
that reason. But as this is about the only product from Sankey Magic I don't own, I thought I'd buy
it and give it a go. Boy, did I underestimate the power of this effect! The audience loves it, and
so do I! If you're a serious worker, you won't leave home without it. I don't! THIS IS FANTASTIC!!!
