This pad is a good pad for most situations when it comes to magic. The printed Aces in my opinion help set the tone of that magic that is about to occur be it cups and balls, sponge, coin magic, etc... The pad is plenty big enough to perform any of the aforementioned routines all comfortably, and its non sliding bottom really help out so you can focus on the magic instead of chasing the pad. The top has a plush feel and look elegant. For the price it's tough to beat with the print, looks, and durability. Any beginning worker of closeup magic should consider one. For the cost what more could you ask for?

The pad is thicker than I expected, which is great. Feels and looks professional. Comes with instructions how to clean and iron (!). I expect the printed corners to wear off quickly, but other than that a good pad.
