Newton's Nightmare A brilliant synthesis of sorcery and science, Newton's Nightmare must be seen to be believed!

From the mind of William J. Schmeelk comes this gravity-defying miracle. A brass weight is dropped through an aluminum tube. It rockets through, falling into the spectator's hand. So far, so good. Customers who bought this also bought

Not the greatest magic trick, but a great demonstration of physics and Lenz's law. When I first got
this, I played with it for hours because it was so cool. This would be perfect for a school
teacher, the students would love it.

Show those physicists what you're made of. Slow gravity down in front of your audience's faces.

This is a lot of fun and very little slight of hand is required to perform it well. It works by
itself and is fun to mess around with or to freak people out. You will have fun with and the price
is nice so add to cart.

Newton's Nightmare is a really good trick to perform, and it's really fun too. Whether you are
taking science, teaching science, or none of the above, this is an amazing trick and a good gag too.
While making the "bet" be confident. They will be unable to catch it (at least most of the time) but
you will always. Don't anticipate catching it though. I like to wait for the drop, then I cover my
mouth and yawn, and then bring my hand down to catch it. If you are looking for a different type of
trick that is fun to perform and guaranteed to get some good reactions, then pick this one up.

I use this as an attention getter for teaching science. Beginners will pick this up quickly. Good
quality for the price. Certainly worth it as an opener.

This a really neat trick, especially for children's shows and stage performances. It is simple,
requires a bit of slight or hand, but it is great for having an assistant and interact with an
audience. They will be amazed! With a little practice this will become one of your favorites. It
really is Newton's Nightmare! ;)

Strangely enough I learned this in college in physics class, and built a cheap version out of some
availiable stock. While it's not so great around a physics crowd, still works great around others.
I suppose one great thing about this trick is it can be used to not only entertain, but if you don't mind taking away some of the mysticism to it, it can be a great science teaching tool, almost as cool as ferrofluids. The lack of stars comes partly from the fact that I have built this one myself and partly due to the fact that I know too many physicists. Did this review help you?
