This DVD has many good tips on it and includes many utility moves that explain many of the other
tricks Sankey markets. Now, do not buy this to have a miracle worker that will make you get every
hot girl on this earth. Most of these effects will be amazing to anyone, and you do not have to add
the Firestarter presentation. I will not lie, and I am still in school. The thing about it is that I
am not allowed to bring a deck of cards. 15 of these effects do use a deck of cards, yet I still
used many of the tips and one of the effects there. After I started to go out with the girl I liked,
she told me that the way she found out and what sparked the entire thing was the presentation I used
in the coin bend included in the DVD. Because of this, I cannot thank Jay Sankey enough. Also, do
not listen to the people who say that you will have a sudden personality change if you try any of
these effects. Sure, some of these effects do have to be done with your own personality, but Sankey
does do a good job at a post graduate course in patter. Some people will not benefit from this DVD,
yet in any case, Sankey does what he set out to do. Sankey wanted to create the one and only DVD on
the secrets of getting dates with close up magic and mentalism with the effects and tips conveying
that you are available, and that you are interested without making a fool out of yourself. This
DVD's tips are all true and do make sence. The tricks do what they are supposed to, and are very
good as well. Now, as for the people who think that Sankeys presentations are vulgar, that is not
true. Again that refrences back to the tips, in one of which he says to not try and imitate his
personality. You can always change the effects presentation. I hope this helps you make an informed
decision and teaches you not to leave a bad review because you didn't get anything out of it. This
is not for everyone, but you shouldn't say Sankey did a bad job for he did exactly what the box and
info said he would do. Thanks for reading!

I can't believe I spent 30 bucks on this dvd. The tricks are below okay and the performances were
lame. The camera shots was crap it was annoying how the camera man shoots up close to his face and
moves around a lot. I thought the pitch of the dvd was a joke how to pick up chicks. I figured the
close up tricks would be good but I was disappointed. The worst thing about the dvd is the corny
pick up lines and advice. Jay sankeys tricks are good but sometimes his performances are lame....
Wasted money.

I'll admit, I originally picked this up to meet girls. (Single at the time) I never did actually try
it out on girls to pick them up.
There is a lot of great material, but I did pick up some great tips on how to present yourself more professional and make yourself look more successful. Those two tips were worth it's weight in gold. There are too many magicians using corny lines that make them look horrible and they don't even know it. This is great to learn about those little tips as well as some great magic, not just to pick up girls, but to start conversations with anyone. Did this review help you?

Jay Sankey is amazing. Now combine Jay with magic designed to pick up chicks. That's right. Not only
do you get the Sankey humor that we have all come to love, you also get an entertaining and
informative video on some of Jay's pick-up material. I was a bit skeptical about this DVD at first,
as I thought the tricks would be lame or cheesy, but upon picking it up, I found out there are
really some great gems specifically designed for this kind of thing on here! Even if you're not into
the whole "pick up chicks with my magic" thing, you'll still be in for a real treat with this video,
as there are some just plain awesome tricks (and tips) here.

Jay is a great teacher and here he gives u lots of good tips how to use magic to get dates, what can
be better? and even if u are not looking for dates these effects are great.

The information Jay Sankey gives here is very useful not only for the intended purpose but also to
create intimacy between you and your audience in general. The tricks are not great but I would say
that you can use the ideas, patter, and guidelines he uses in the tricks he present and either apply
them to tricks you already do or create your own routines. In conclusion: it is a good informational
dvd but if you are looking for great tricks this is not the dvd for you.

This dvd is very good but u have to use a lot of card magic to use most of the effecs included, the
tips thou Jay gives u how to do and preform things is just so so good!

Okay, This DVD is ok. Not sankey's best work, but it does have some pretty cool effects in it. It is
funny though I have to say. I mean, I didn't get this to pick up, but It has heaps of "interesting"
information in it and it certainly has some good effects. You don't have to put the "pick-up" twist
to the effects if you don't want to. But. if you're looking for good sankey material, this shouldn't
be your first choice.

Ok first of all I have no IDEA what is wrong with those people who gave this DVD below three stars.
They must not have even watched it all the way through or something. I mean seriously, I think just
the EFFECTS alone merit a decent rating. Admittedly, they are not ALL great but there are
DEFINITELY some killer tricks. I'm not just talking about V.I.P. either; that's in a league of its
own and as some would argue, worth the price of the DVD ALONE. Tricks like Whisper, Eye2Eye and
Destined can be done without any sort of "Firestarters" patter and get great reactions. Others like
Dotcom, Hundred Dollar Kiss and Heated Exchange are ordinary effects brought to whole new levels.
Jay explains his reasoning behind every action, every word in the patter and they MAKE A LOT OF
SENSE!! (Listen to what he says during the explaination of Whisper and you'll know what I mean)
Not to mention he gives you LEGITIMATE dating tips between just about every single trick.
Five things that Jay says he set out to do (and accomplishes quite well)with his Firestarters: 1. Determine actual Prospects 2. Convey that you are Single and Interested (Without being blatant) 3. Create Intimacy, Promote Flirting 4. Gauge the Interest of the other person 5. Get the all-important Contact Info The one complaint that was brought up that IS a real concern is that the people who end up buying this are probably not gonna be Professionals working at restaurants or corporate gigs or whatnot. BUT these will work at just about any social event so as long as you can adapt to the situation, the problem is not significant. 30 Dollars is understandably a LITTLE high of a price but I personally think it was a very worthwhile purchase. Those who have taken the time to read this far though, hopefully have a better understanding of what to expect from this DVD and can not make a more informed decision. Did this review help you?

This DVD is good and has lots of effects that can be adapted so that attached magicians can still
use them. I would not recomend buying this DVD if you seriously think that it will guarantee you a
date, that bit is totally up to you.
I think Jay's advice may have some truth but its a little wierd coming from Jay Sankey of all people. After watching many Jay Sankey DVD's and seeing what he's like, its a little hard to watch him be serious for a whole DVD, which is what he's done in firestarters, it must have been tough for the man!
