This is a great idea with some great reveals. However, some of the page numbers are difficult to read depending on how good your eyes are.

This is great for male audit audiences. The nudity (3 out of 48 pages have a few panels of nudity) may not be appreciated by the females.

For kids or a broad audience, this may not be the book test for you to buy.

For the right adult audience, this may be great.

I agree with all of the other reviewers, that the book is nearly perfect. The affects are excellent. It is worthy of 5 stars except for one flaw. There is a small imperfection that makes it impossible for anyone with less than excellent vision to perform the effect.

To perform the various revelations, you must be able to easily read the page number which is disguised as a fan of cards at the top of each page. The designers of the book are overestimating the ability of some of us to see this clearly. All of the page text and pictures are very readable and cause no problem, but the page numbers are just too impossibly small.

I paid full price for this book and I cannot use it.

This is amazing! The amount of work they put in to creating this is baffling. I'm a magician, not a mentalist but when I opened this up my jaw just dropped. I never write reviews even for things I absolutely love but this one definitely deserved it. As I started flipping through it I thought it was going to be tough to remember what I needed to remember in order for it to work, but it was super easy once you know the secret and yet super deceptive. I have been wanting to do a book test for a while and have looked at a couple different one but this is hands down the coolest. I would totally recommend this to anybody that is interested at all in book tests... Definitely add to cart!

The prop / comic book is the best part of the whole package, but
is useless as a gimmick. You must have eagle eyes to even attempt make use of it. The memory work involved is very complicated and not easy to understand and of very little value.
I found the instructions hard to understand and no usable tutorial or
routines to follow. After reading the instructions twice I throught maybe part
of the instructions were missing. A big disappointment and letdown.
Will definitely be returning it. Save yourself the hassle.

The amount of work that went into this effect is staggering. I got it as a cool box deal for the obscenely low price of , but now that I own the book, I can safely say that the 0 price tag is fair. This is a powerful tool for mentalists, and, in my opinion, much more interesting than a standard book test. There are six possible reveals, and a mystery effect, which I still haven't received. The first reveal is very basic, but is effective in getting the spectator interested in the effect.
One other reveal is also fairly basic, but still gets great reactions. The other four are absolutely stellar. There is a word, number sequence, symbol, and time/direction divination, and each one really blows people away.
As others have noted, there is some nudity in the book (hey, they're French), but I mostly perform for adults anyways, so it isn't a problem for me. I even make a joke of it, saying that if they're offended by nudity they can always flip to the next page. This makes the test seem even more fair, and gets a laugh.
The other complaint I've heard, is that the comic book doesn't look like a real comic book. While I agree that it doesn't look like a mainstream comic book, it most certainly looks real!
Highly, highly recommended.

This is amazing. It's the closet thing you will get to actual mind reading. You will b able to figure out page numbers, words, items, the time, which way a compass is facing, and even entire serial numbers with out honestly every seeing them. This is incredible. After reading the instructions and figuring out the technique behind this book I was able to blow people's minds within 30 mins of receiving it. You will seem like a true mind reader with this. BUY NOW!!
