This would be an excellent replacement for the Amazing Mystical Vanishing bandana, if it had included an actual yellow bandana,like the original effect by Hass... but it does not...

If you already have the gimmick , which I do, and a much better one than provided here.. you could pretty much duplicate this without shelling out the coin for purchasing this and for the shipping and handling as well.

This is a great effect to perform, but unfortunately all the necessary props to make this an outstanding trick have not been included in this offering.

While many in the states may be familiar with this old classic, it's not nearly as well-known in Brazil which allowed me a chance, not only to perform a great trick for appreciative audience members, but allow me to integrate a logical twist to the trick.

My daughter explains to the audience (in Portuguese) that I'm her father and I'm also an American magician. She explains that I'm trying to learn the language and today is test day. She intends to test my knowledge of the language by reading a set of instructions for a magic trick to me in Portuguese and if I understand and follow the directions to the T, all will go well.

Naturally, the chaos ensues when I produce the banana and this new language angle allowed me to craft the script myself, integrating jokes that the Brazilian audience would understand and appreciate, all building up to the big finale at a point where everybody is certain that I've ruined an old lady's heirloom handkerchief.

It's so great to see the reactions we get from doing this trick in Brazil. Definitely one of my favorites to perform.

I paid 26.25 for a box and a bag.no cd and a a inch x 14 inch card with a password to get instructions. Pitiful.

the dvd that comes with this sucks, have someone read the instructions out loud (they need to rehearse with you)

The trick itself is easy and really good

Yes it is old, but every trick is new the first time you see it.

Adults like this as much as the kids. Some kids don't know what a bandana is, so I give the birthday child a 'Birthday Bandana" to wear at the start of the show. Then when I do this trick later, they get the pun.

Easy to learn, difficult not to get a laugh!

I had the original, loved it and played it for years. Decided I wanted the updated version. Just got it, was very disappointed, a photocopy of the original cover page, cheap napkin, cardboard box and absolutely nothing else, no instructions, no CD, DVD, no audio file, no download, nothing. This is the most disappointed I’ve been with anything I’ve got from Penguin Magic in the last fifteen years. Save your money you won’t get an original copy of this trick or the audio you need to perform it. Penguin is usually awesome, but someone dropped the ball on this product, it does not even seem to be an authentic copy. Now I’ve paid for something I never got and really want to put it back in my show. Oh well, Buyer beware on this one, you will be disappointed.

Just received it. Seems to be missing instructions or CD but besides that’s it’s beautifully made and works very well. Practiced with a few items around the house.

Never the trick to blow people’s minds, but guaranteed to cause lots of joy to fill the room. What a fun trick! The CD is nice with a few options for the “instructional tract.” The cloth is nice enough. Without a doubt, one of my favorites because of how much everyone enjoys the banana mishap.
