Welcome to RSVP's brand new release "Creased' by Arnel Renegado. A new effect that can stand alone at the end of any card routine or be THE impossible finish to your Ambitious Card Routine!

When you watch the trailer, you'll think that it can't really be that good. It is!

It looks like trick photography, but it isn't!

This is truly one of the most visual card rises that we've ever seen and best of all the signed/creased card can be handed out for examination immediately!

Imagine having a card freely chosen (no force) and then signed by the spectator. Now take their card and fold a crease across the top of their card. Hand them the card and ask them to really crease the card so that's it's undeniably unique to them.

Now place their signed card into the middle of the deck and ask them to watch the top card. Visibly their creased card morphs to the top of the deck. The card is cleanly turned over to show that it's their card, which is immediately handed out to the spectator. It's that clean!

Creased comes with a full instructional DVD featuring Darren Robinson, who teaches you the effect in complete detail, with bonus handling tips and techniques. Also included is one Creased Gimmick that enables you to perform Creased with a Red Bicycle Deck. On the DVD, Darren also teaches you how to make your own gimmicks, although the one supplied will last for some time if handled correctly.

  • NO FLAPS!
  • NO MAGNETS!
  • EASY TO DO!
"Looks like a camera trick or edit... but it isn't! Stunning and the method is as good as the effect. Practical and doable, with minimal practice."
- MARC SPELMANN

"Just when you've thought you've seen every ambitious finale, up pops this amazing visual rise... Floored me completely. The method is absolutely ingenious and also extremely practical."
- JOHN CAREY

Hey, I read the other review on this and I agree to an extent. What I did was make the gimmick thicker and it worked every time. I also set up the gimmick while the spectators are creasing the card - perfect misdirection. Hope this solves/answers and questions you have.

The gimmick seem cool but it take a lot of practice and you need to cover your tilt, do some double lift. But if you make one small mistake with the gimmick during the performing, it goes down the drain. There is no way you can recover from it and immediately depose the trick. I don't know how I will explain the spectacular if I screw it up. The gimmick can be delicate and it something you have to be extremely carefully with. Sure it have great effect! But that is like walking on the thin ice to success it perfectly.

Sorry, I don't feel comfortable with it. I'm shipping it back.

Great idea, but needs refinement Report this review

The method is very clever. The moment that the magic happens looks great. In my opinion, however, getting into position prior to the effect happening is a bit too fussy and fiddly, even how Arnel does it in the explanation video. There is a moment when you are setting up during the effect that requires that you look at what you are doing while you are doing it, and there's really no good justification for that moment when you are looking at the cards and fiddling around. I'm going to try remaking the gimmick such that there is one-half the amount to adjust with the gimmick during the effect, which I suspect will smooth out the fiddly moment a bit. The method/gimmick is great food for thought if you are a hands-on creative type who enjoys tinkering with the mechanics of gimmicks/effects, and will probably give you ideas for how to improve things or give you new ideas for effects of your own. The entire effect, as it's offered here, needs a bit of refinement, in my opinion. For example, at the end of the trick you show that the card that the crease dissappeared from is folded, but does not have a crease, which I think confuses matters and muddies what the effect is supposed to be.
