If you want a very large chain that feels like you’re about to corral a junkyard pit bull, this is
the one. Well made and I’m sure won’t tarnish but you need a huge amount of space to do the throws
and it’s so chunky it feels like a cartoon prop Hopefully a smaller gage chain will be made
available because it’s a good pattern link it’s just very clunky.

This is the perfect chain for the Endless Chain Routine a very under utilized piece of magic.

I don't think that anyone in the know needs much of a review about anything that is put out by
School for Scoundrels. Pop Haydn is a living legend and it is hard to go wrong with anything he has
taken the time to market. Fast and Loose is the ultimate packs small, plays big gambling demo. A
deck of cards, the three shell game, along with fast and loose and your ready to rock your close up
audience old school.

The chain is excellent. The fluid pattern is very deceptive and it moves freely.
I have tossed
the chain for over a decade (using the 'Chain Gang' prop mostly) and this chain is a lil too short
for a few patterns (hence the 4 stars) but thats fine.
This is a welcome addition to my favorite
props and will see good use.
The chain, although larger than any others I've used, is really smooth and can be seen well for a
larger audience. Glad I finally got the one that was made for fast and loose.
The best chain for fast n loose. I hated all gambling themed tricks or scams until I saw how over
the top the reactions were to them! 3 card Monte, 3 shells and fast n loose are now cemented into my
sets. Don’t be like me start doing this and you will be very happy!
I like this! Piece is solid and seamless, pretty durable too! Just to clarify, this is indeed the
same product that you would receive from the School for Scoundrels.
A word of warning,
however. This chain is YUGE. If you are looking for a thinner-style chain, I'd recommend Marc
DeSouza's "Chain Gang" DVD instead, which has a nice and light golden cable. But holy hell when I
opened it, my first thought was that this could seriously hurt someone. You know, THWACK! Each link
is the size of your fingernail, and these are woven in a double strand style I don't know what to
call it. But this is NOT the French Rope pattern you'd find if you look for that sort of thing
online. Though it being big helps in visibility, it doesn't connote either a beggar's swindle or an
illusionist's delicate display, but rather a more hard industrial theme, kind of like the grungy
theme theory11 had when it was first founded.
Just saying... Caveat Emptor, you get what
you pay for and this time I figure this is a bit much. But if that's your thing, well... at least it
keeps the hecklers away.
Great quality and nice bag to carry it in. Well made item
a very old but very interesting way to do it , good material thick enough to handle nice pattern
and material , long enough to perform at the tables, some people like it longer , it will not fit on
the table trust me , try this one you'll like it ,comes with instructions and nice pouch, a very old
plot and you get to tell the story from the old times i love it short but interesting..story
Like all School For Scoundrel products I own this is a real quality piece. I had formerly been using
a ball chain for fast and loose and this one blows that out of the water, it's in a completely
different class.
The chain has a good weight to it, it looks brilliant and the french link
pattern is deceptive to the eye.
