This is some nice, visual magic. The effect is exactly as described. It's ideal for any stand up
show (although closer than that might start to be slightly problematic). You need at least one silk
to perform this (preferably a very dark color), otherwise you flash the gimmick. It's better with 2.
Now for all the technical details:
Difficulty: This is quite difficult (especially
compared to the appearing cane). It takes a fair amount of practice to get the knack.
Reactions: Very good. Good enough for me to start out my kids show with.
Inspectability: It's gone, what is there to inspect? :D You end dirty. The silks are not
examinable.
Quality of gimmick: They say it lasts a life time, but I can't vouch for that
myself. I could say that it will last a really long time if it isn't abused.
Overall: This
is fun to practice and perform from a magicians perspective and entertaining and magical from a
spectators. However, this needs to be used correctly. I have the canes worked into my patter in a
logical way, that also cleans up the gimmick. If not used correctly, this won't get great reactions
from spectators (but is that really any different than most tricks?).
Would I recommend
this to most people? Yes, but not everybody. Before buying this, think to yourself 'Would I be able
to work this into my show?'. If you can find a logical way to add this to your show it will make a
great addition. If not, then this might not be for you (although this is still a fun piece just to
practice). So in conclusion, you most likely should BUY IT!

I bought this and all I can say is that it is great! Very visual and unexpected. You start clean and
almost end clean, I truely think it's great.
I really don't know why the other review said it
was bad. It's GREAT! I Highly Recommend it!

Not for close-up
Best to keep the cane moving
Practice (like any effect) to get the speed up
and noise down
Get some silks (if you dont have any) helps disquise and looks great
Worth
adding to arsenal
Get them while you can. I heard Fantasion stopped making them. You have many options with this
cane. The quality is spot on for the price. Grat visual effect that can become part of most any
routine.
This can is fantastic! The cane is very fast and doesn't make any noise. I end my show with this
item which is a beautiful and visually stunning piece of magic. Buy it!
I don't actually perform professionally with this gimmick but I do like to play around with it and
occasionally perform it on friends. I think it's worth having in your box of tricks!
A little pricey but still a great effect. Takes very little practice and packs big, however for my
money, personaly, I would choose the appearing cane if you had to choose. They wont see the cane
coming, and when you see a cane spectators already think something is up so they look for something
to happen, not that they will see it, but still...
I used this for the opener.... color change, then can to silks...people go wild it takes a while to
assemble it but once you get it down it should only take about 30 seconds
I use this after my trip color changing cane that vanishes. I then use an apearing cane. Use a tad
misderection to switch the apearing cane to this vanishing cane. I have two 9" red silks tide to
either ends of a black 9" silk... It's nice
It takes a bit of practice though!
