The Effect
Dan Harlan was instrumental in popularizing magic with rubber bands and is widely considered a master of rubber band magic. On this DVD he teaches the orginal routines and techniques that gave him his worldwide reputation. You will learn easy-to-perform rubber band magic that's perfect for impromptu situations.
All the routines are impromptu and can be done with borrowed rubber bands. In addition to the routines Dan also teaches variations, applications and ideas to further enhance the magic.

- Traveling Tips -- A streamlined variation of Dan Harlan's award winning Traveling Cash routine. It's an outstanding piece of magic where two rubber bands are held between the hands and a spectator holds the top of four strands. Then, the held strand VISUALLY begins to travel down to second, third, fourth positions. It's a reputation maker.
- Original Impromptu Linking Rubber Bands -- Dan Harlan's original method of linking and unlinking rubber bands.
- Snapped Again -- A rubber band is convincingly broken and visually restored.
- Joint Venture -- A rubber band is wrapped around your finger and magically penetrates right through it. The sequence is repeated under more impossible conditions.

The content on this DVD is magnificent. The tricks you will learn can be true wonders if you put the effort into figuring out good presentation.
Overall, I would highly recommend this.

the cover of this dvd looks like something out of the eighties and the hair and dress code of the persons in the video make you think...OMG i cant believe i just bought this....BUT WAIT!!!! these rubber band tricks just seem to go on and on...there are so many cool things you can do and the methods are taught EXTREMELY well. after watching the first explaination of a trick i was hooked and you will be too. If you stopped to read this that means you are interested in these tricks, trust me, you WILL like it!

I got it a day ago and can't stop watching it! It rocks! Some of the effects require a lot of practice, but it is defintely worth it. My favorite is Wrist Band. It is fairly simple yet it gets great reactions. Get it NOW!!!!!

I am dead serious when I say: you guys don’t know what you are missing.
All this talk about new items, you guys are forgetting the old stuff.
This dvd is amazing. I own more then 75 magic dvds, and this dvd is my favorite. ( I actually have 2 favorites, born to perform card magic, and this dvd.) You learn like 12 different routines you can do with a couple rubber bands.
This dvd is not like a lot of dvds we have today, where there are a couple really good tricks, some ok tricks, and then some pretty bad tricks. Every single rubber band trick on this dvd is amazing. I really wish the preview was longer so you guys could see what you are really getting.
I have about 4 of these tricks down now, and people are already flipping over them.
And what is even better is they are rubber bands! They take up almost no space at all. And if you want to do a quick trick for somebody (like in an elevator (I did it twice!)), simply take a couple rubber bands off your wrist and do magic! Quick, visual magic!
I recommend you pick one of these up right away. I know you are saving up for greed, or the black widow, or the electrical touch, well, put those items on hold, because you REALLY need to get this dvd.

Man, I hate these tricks. You have to carry around these big and bulky objects, just to perform a couple trick. YEAH RIGHT! This dvd is awesome! It teaches you like a dozen+ tricks you can do with simply a couple rubber bands, RUBBER BANDS! You wake up in the morning, put a few rubber bands on your wrists, and you are ready to go! That is it! It is awesome! Also, if you do a lot of card magic like me, it gives your “general magic appeal” some variety!
But in all seriousness, this dvd is great. And the tricks are so stunning. I am not saying you should get this, but you are missing out if you don’t!
