Bend Spoons (Spiral Twisting) --

  • Easily BEND A PERFECTLY-STRAIGHT SPIRAL TWIST into the neck of a borrowed & signed spoon, under the noses of your spectators, DURING A LIVE PERFORMANCE.
  • A perfectly-straight spiral twist, allows for smooth animation, as the audience watches the spoon "actually" twisting.
  • You can also BEND MULTIPLE SPIRALS into a single spoon (3-4 spirals).
Bend, Twist & Break Forks --
  • During a live show performance, with almost NO EFFORT, TWIST THE TINES of a borrowed signed fork - into a SPIRAL CORKSCREW SHAPE. A bend that can hardly be achieved even with the use of pliers.
  • You can also BEND THE TINES to an IMPOSSIBLE 90 DEGREE ANGLE - at the CENTER OF EACH TINE - bend 90° to all directions; upwards, downwards or sideways.
  • Alternatively, bend the tines into an arc shape.
  • Bend two tines simultaneously.
  • Create a double bend ("S" shape) in a single tine.
  • Or use DEFORMER™ to easily break an unprepared fork's tine in half.
Bend steel nails --
  • Bend strong steel nails into a "HOOK" shape - to an impossible 20-120 degree angle.
Bend, Twist & Break keys --
  • Twist borrowed keys into a spiral shape.
  • Easily Break a key in half.
  • Or bend a key into an arc shape.
Other features;
  • High quality, precision-made metal gimmick - built to last a lifetime.
  • Designed for use during live show performances. (Can also be used pre-show).

Very well packaged. Looks old school.
The instructional download is clear and comprehensive. Menny demonstrates and explains things concisely but just the right amount of info.
There is however no full public performance of the gimmick in play.
I would have liked to have seen a full performance as he did with his coin bending gimmick Ox Bender.
There is an index at the start of the video so that you can move to whatever part of the video that you are interested in. The quality of the video is excellent.
The explanations on the video cover bends for spoons, nails, keys and forks. Heaps of different types of bends.
The gimmick is well designed, nothing fancy, and innocent looking. It appears to be indestructible. It is sturdy and should last a life time.
Everything that is claimed in the advertising seems to be accurate.
I bought it for the corkscrew bend(neck twist). I have always been fascinated with this type of bend. With a bit of practice, and a bit of strength , the bend is very achievable. I had it down very quickly.
Menny doesn't discuss routining that well. Just distract them and do the bend. Give them another spoon to look at to see if it is straight.....
So a bit of time has to be devoted to the routining of this gimmick. I will use my coin bending routine for this but with a spoon or fork.
Or you can do it directly in front of them and show how strong you are ( he says this on the video:-))
One thing that wasn't mentioned in his video, is that you can do a crazy balancing stunt with the gimmick. This will be obvious to anyone who buys it.
Great product.

Great idea but to expensive for what you get. Report this review

For this price he could included a pack of spoons & forks but no he didn't.
This is my honest review : the gimmick is well made and has a well look .
Works great but you need to do the move by yourself not like the oxbender that does it instantly.
It disguised as a part from an item that all magicians and mentalist own .
You could use it for forks, spoons, large and largest nails, and keys , but not coins.
You could do any impossible bends on the forks and spoon , but some the bends are so big that you need to disguise your movements by misleading. Some of the movements could be done with the oxbender.
I give it only 3 stars for the price and because it's not automatic devices, it just a disguised tool that it does only a quarter of the job . So I'm half satisfied.

Indestructible gimmick.

Hides in plain site.

Does a great job of assisting with some
Impossible bends. I do liquid metal by Morgan Strebler all the time and this will only enhance what I do.

Love it 100%

one of the review on deformer is titled "domt look at the five stars".i wrote that review befor getting the gimmick, whuch was a big mistake. i am very sory to all of the people that read it.

bu now i got the gimmick, and i realy do love it!
it realy does hide right under the spectators noses, and you can get truly impossible bends with it.
the only down side to it is that you cant build a whole fork bending routine around it. you will only have enough time to get in only one bend, and if you are lucky maybe two. but you shouldnt let this scare you. the bends you can get on a fork are truly impossible!

i dont think i will be bending spoons with this at all. the bend itself is vey unnatrual, and if you are surounded you screwd. not because of angles, but rather the fact that you wont be able to musdirect everybody.

i think i will be using it for keys and nails the most because as i said you cant get many bends with it, but the ones you get are realy good. because of the size of nails and keys the bens=ds on them look both very big and realy impossible at the same time.

honestly i think the best thing about it is that it is impromtu. as long as you have a s*****i on you, which as magicians we all cary, you can put very nice bends on very strong forks and spoons with no set up at all.
keys and nails are a bit harder because of the size, but you can find some very useable ones.

Interesting, but not worth the $99 Report this review
Pro Privacy ON (login to see reviewer names) on June 22nd, 2020
Just got mine. Although I had fun playing with this I'm not sure I see how its worth the $99. You are not going to get away with the stem twist he recommends at the start unless you're a body builder or your spectators are drunk. Liquid Metal is a way better way to do that. The two fork misdirection is good but it requires sticking one in your pocket after its been examined in many situations which seems like a really bad idea and anyway, with that misdirection you could do a tine bend by hand without muddying things by introducing the gimmick a la liquid metal. Yes, there are more things you can do with this than Liquid Metal, but I'm not sure they make much difference to the spectator.

It is too inexpensive... Report this review

I think that for what you get, this cost too little. This is to silverware what coinvexed is to coins but it cost 1/3rd less than coinvexed and it is a much better utility device. I would have paid as much as $200-$300 for this because it is that good. If you like coinvexed but would prefer to bend silverware than coins, then this is for you. You already know what to do... buy it!

dont like the Deformer at all Report this review

I thought the trick would be easier to do, faster, and not have to take a marker that distracts the viewer. There should be no reason to sign the spoon so I can bend it. People are usually very suspicious and do not fall so fast. I'm sorry to buy the device. If I knew that this was the trick, I wouldn't buy it
