Invisible Deck is a classic.The fact that it is gimmicked is not a problem because the specs are blown out of their minds they dont think to check the deck. Singularity is the ungimmicked version and if you practise enough, you will get this effect and it will truly be a great effect to do in your shows.
HOWEVER

his teaching is great but it is all over the place. he uses these words a lot: "ok so i should explain that before you do xyz, you need to do abc" He has already discussed xyz in length before discussing abc!
Nice trick - too many what ifs and sloppy teaching.

The invisible deck is arguably (definitely imho) the BEST effect you can do with a "deck of cards". Spectator freely names ANY card in the deck and magician spreads cards to show ONE card facing opposite--their freely named card!
Because I'm a purist, I could never perform this effect for personal reasons. I refuse to use a gimmick deck. I'd hate to have to come up with a witty statement that basically says "I only use magic cards" when someone with cards asks me to show him something.
I'm so grateful that Alvo released this and I cannot express enough how great this effect is.
WARNING! This is not self working--you will need to practice this over and over because the sleight is done while under fire. If you have the dedication to learn to pass a deck, then learning this trick won't be hard.
AMAZING! Singularity's value far exceeds the price and time required to master. This IS the impromptu, no setup, no gimmicks, no bullshit version of the Invisible Deck. Start and end clean. PERFECT!

This is such an awesome trick. i really got to thank alvo for going through the dvd so clearly and for 2 whole hours! i think it should be like 20 bucks but 30 is fine for me. He teaches you like 7 tricks with the method and a michael webber routine which is awesome. ADD TO CART!!!

That being said, this will require a lot of practice. No offense to anyone out there, but a lot of you on the penguin forums seem to hate that idea when it comes to magic. I dont understand it, as I get great satisfaction mastering a hard move and making it look beautiful and graceful. In just one day, I am getting comfortable with the general move, but getting the move to look as good as Alvo will be hard. But that is what makes this effect great! When done well, no one will even think you are doing anything when BAMB the named card is face down in the deck. It really is that clean when done well. The bonus M. Weber effect is a great trick too that may open some doors for many younger less knowledgable magicians. Overall, this is great! I will definitaly put in the time to master this because it will definitaly be worth it!!! BUY NOW

when i perform the singularity people go nuts! though im only giving this 4 stars because you HAVE to spread the cards the "wrong" way (from right to left)if you wanna learn the way that he does it in the video, you will learn an "easy singularity" in the easy singularity you can spread the cards from left to right, but its not as clean as the other. it says its a 2 hour dvd, BUT half of the dvd has alomst nothing to do with singularity. its a michael weber effect, its pretty awesome but im not going to use it.. if you really miss some hard training, then singularity is just for you! the dvd comes in a sleve(that sucks!) but overral this is a must buy for any magician thats serious about his magic. add to cart!
Ohh btw. the tricks that follow with the sleight of hand is probably the most hard hitting tricks out there! but thats just my opinion :D..
