This gimmick is incredable and the dvd is great. I read So many negative reviews about the Taranyula and decided to get it anyway. It is not cheap. It is very well made for what it is if your careful it wont break. If you can use IT you will love this. Its quiet its fast and nobody sees it. The hovering ring is easy and if you can take wax off someones drivers license that you just floated you can take the wax off a ring. I love it. He breaks it all down on the dvd very well also.

I went to the Magic Castle and on the bar I saw Yigal Mesika perform this trick and I was Shocked. It was mind blowing when the ring was in the air and spinning, but when I saw it drop on this lady's finger I was amazed. I have been performing levitation and other mentalism tricks for many years. I decided to buy it. I was expecting to find it for around $500 but I was extremely happy that it was less then $75. I then thought to myself if it was such an amazing effect and it was cheap, it must be impossible to perform unless I practice for at least a couple of months. Thankfully, I was wrong once again. I was able to perform this to my family and friends on the same day I bought it. Reading the instructions is important and making sure you don't buy the knock off is the two best suggestions I can give. I was very impressed with the quality and the concept of this effect.

So I bought this thinking it was just gonna be another stupid levitation that I can show off for a while and then just forget about it. Well I was wrong, because the day I got this it was the coolest magic ever. Its so easy to do the tricks, I performed all of these the day I got it. My only problem was that there was one thing I forgot to do and that was spin the ring in the opposite direction every time; and because I didn't do that it broke. I tryed to pull more out of it but every time I pull it out it came out in short peices. The actual gimmick is fine I just need to get the refills and it will work again, but I've been trying to save up for other magic stuff and if I get the refills it will put a big draw back on my savings. So all together I like it, but remember FOLLOW ALL THE INSTRUCTIONS or it will cost you.

The concept is awesome but the trick itself is poorly made. I have gone through two of them in less then six months. I have not been abusing it, it is just very poorly made and both times it was impossible to repair.
