The coin functions perfectly well. The thing I don't like is that its shinier than a piece of tin foil. At night or under subdued lighting this is less of an issue, but in broad daylight or under bright lights this thing is going to look exactly like what it is - a fake. You get what you pay for. If realistic appearance isn't an issue for you, by all means buy it. Like I said, it works just fine for its intended purpose. Your call.

This is a good coin other than two things...
1. I've bought two of these coins (because i lost one) they both have been the back of state quarters making it very suspectable when you turn it into a mini quarter (if they are paying attention.)

2. They are pretty noisy. but that can easily be worked out.

The coin itself is made very well.

Overall, I say...

This coin is highly detailed , and very nicely made (money). It would be a perfect coin vanish for your raven or raven x2. If you're getting the shim shelled quarter, get the mini quarter also! It would be great combo to add to your magic raven collection! Buy now!
