Imagine a piece of magic so incredible, so visually stunning, that it looks like trick photography...but it's happening live, inches from your face!

A borrowed bill of any denomination is clearly and openly folded around a pencil. The bill is shown front and back to completely enwrap the pencil. With no moves, nothing added or taken away, almost instantly the pencil visually penetrates through the bill! The bill is once again wrapped around the pencil, but this time the pencil slowly... very slowly... melts... through... the bill!

You will enjoy performing this effect as much as your audience will be delighted watching it. With how incredibly easy "Just Passin' Thru" is to do coupled with the fact that all you need to carry is a pencil, this effect just might soon become one of your perennial favorites.

In addition, we have included Lonnie Chevrie's "Finger Thru Bill"... an amazingly visual, impromptu feat of magic that you will put to use immediately as the perfect follow-up to "Just Passin' Thru" or for those times when you don't have a pencil.

Comes complete with detailed, step-by-step and thoroughly illustrated instruction booklet which guides you through every nuance in an almost frame-by-frame manner. Also included is a bonus DVD which contains performances of "Just Passin' Thru" and "Finger Thru Bill" by their creators as well as a detailed explanation for "Just Passin' Thru" for those of you who learn better visually.

This is a really cool pencil penetration trick. Most of us have seen the pen through dollar trick but it's nice to see it done with pencils too. This trick is similar to the one called Misled which is also really good. This one is going to take some practice before you can get it looking right. You will be able to perform this right away, but if you want it to be convincing, then practice in front of a mirror.

A very visual trick. As other reviews have said the trick does require a 'fat' pencil, however this has never caused me a problem and audiences don't focus on the size of the pencil- they focus on the fact that you've just put a pencil through a bill!

Simple but great Report this review

This is a great effect for a real quick trick that takes little to no practice to get great.

The pencil I got was a big black pencil that you probably wouldn't see anywhere else in a store, but the color helps to hide the gimmick. The gimmick took a little bit of work to get "loosened up", too.

The explanation of the trick on the DVD was ok, though it would have been nice to have some other views, especially since positioning of the dollar and the pencil is everything in this trick.

Overall a great buy, good to build up the repertoire and very easy to learn.

I just got this trick a few days ago..
I knew what I was getting.. so I wasn't too surprised..
but the effect itself is great.. looks very very good..
there are downfalls to this though..
1. Its not a real looking pencil... big and bulky ...
2. Will leave residue on the bill.. but over time will disappear...
3. The actual pencil itself is not examinable... need to do a switch.. but that depends on your performance and how u handle things..

Those are the key areas of concern..
The DVD is okay...
doesn't really go into these points when explaining the effect.. or tips around them..

It not something I will use all the time. But if I have a guest come over my place or whatever, I might perform it, but I wouldn't carry it with me anywhere.

had everyone fooled... was a small bit of graphite or something on the note.. i used a recipt lol... it is a bit fragile, might make a metal one for personal use and disguise it as a posh pen :D

great trick, very clever... totally unreal from both sides :D
i have to practice in a mirror so i know what they see...
there's a button on the top of the page that says "buy now" click it and fill the form in :D

I got this trick yesterday, and I can now say that out of all the tricks I own this is the best. Some people say that the pencil looks bulky but it doesn't. Ignore the bad reviews and if you are not 100% sure on buying this (I wasn't that sure either) you need to get this because you will love it

JPT is absolutely awesome! This effect gets best response whenever, wherever or to whomever I perform. It takes a little practise and it is absolutely jawdropping!

The only downfall of this trick is that I didn`t come up with it:) Anyway ten thumbs up for this one!

I own about 55 magic tricks, ranging from coin to card to just general close-up. However, I have to let it be known that this trick is by far the best. #1 out of 55. It is easy to do, and is the most incredible visual effect I have yet to see.

Q: How’s Penguin's price on JPT?
A: Fantastic.

Q: How good is JPT?
A: Fantastic.

If you have seen the demo video and not purchased JPT and FTB, shame on you! JPT is as great as it looks, just keep in mind it will take you a little bit of time to get the handling down, it took me about an hour or so. What gets me is as good as JPT is; FTB is the perfect follow up trick.

You get a very professional top-notch booklet with clear illustrated instructions in it; in the back is a plastic sleeve that holds your DVD. This has Russ Niedzwiecki’s performance and instructions on it, which are filmed very clearly. I suggest after you melt the pencil thru the bill wait just a moment (not to long), grab the bill out of their hands then go into FTB.
