Its a great little effect with a coin and a cup. I don't think that this trick is a must have because, in some cases the audience may see the sneaky part which will then ruin the whole trick. All in all, the trick itself is fabulous but, you really have to be carful to not reveal all the crazy bits.

The first version in the video is better, but involves something else other than the cup and the coin that some people could classify it as a gimmick.

Looks great in performance just as you see it in the preview. This is best done one on one where you can control the angles such as across the table in McDonald's. To me the video fell a little short on how to get cleanly into position for the penetration but there is an easy way to do it. I added my method to the discussion forum. This trick is simple to perform and pretty darn effective. You can't go wrong for $5
